That's strange. I said we have reference material (so he can speak for himself) and posted a link. Not sure how that would qualify as passive aggression...
I made no comments about your cognitive abilities, nor did I express an opinion. I just posted a link to one of Satoshi's own comments on scaling.
Why don't we let Satoshi speak for himself: https://www.mail-archive.com/cryptography@metzdowd.com/msg09964.html
But I did. And the tip button shows on my profile. So when people make payments to that address, is it not Lightning? And if so, how would the Sats end up in my Lightning wallet? Sorry, I'm not being argumentative, just genuinely confused and trying to learn :)

Looks like Lightning to me?
If this is how we're starting, it's exciting to think about where we'll be soon.
It's been a big week for Nostr adoption, and a big day on 17 Feb! Source: https://nostr.band/

Been considering doing the same, but I have been cloned a few times and worried that if I don't maintain a presence on Twitter, more people will get scammed. Perhaps it's time to let go of that concern....
Perhaps there is a gap in my understanding then. I created a new Lightning wallet in Blue Wallet. Went to manage funds -> copied the address. Added it Twitter for tips. So yes, static address - but are payments to this wallet not Lightning payments?
You can add any Lightning address to receive tips on Twitter. I know, because I did.
Running Nostr.
Good answer. Makes total sense. I can see you have given this a lot of thought.
Twitter did integrate Lightning tips though, in pretty much the same way Nostr has. Are you suggesting they need to do more?
