Today was a great day with the family. We went for the most beautiful restaurant on the bitcoincity Arnhem map and we couldnāt pay with bitcoin. Didnāt bring our mood down. Today we had a great meetup in Eindhoven. It was the first we ever organized in this technology city. 16 people showed up for coffee and 5 for dinner. It was great! Thank you all for your beautiful stories and great ambiance.
Today someone tried to scam us in the following way: ordered via the website, put all the address details in, set the payment method for meetup/pickup. We decided to manually complete it. So we bought a shipping ticket, input email handed it over at our local shipping office whereafter we took the package back to our office. Arriving back at the office the next order came in, similar fashion. Trying to scam us without paying. The second order was even more than the firstā¦
If someone feels like going after this it would be greatly appreciated. The phone number is fake. The IP addresses and physical addresses might be something we could look at. First IP looks VPN, second might not be. Is there anyone who can help us out on this? Last few weeks there were quite some delays at the shipping companies (we use multiple). Many emails were sent up and down but we were happy to see the digital smiles once the packages finally arrived. Attached some PoW from our clients. We also receive emails regarding data removal. Our website automatically deletes all customer data after a month. But we also permanently delete all order data manually (ip-addresses & other order data). In our shipping account we delete the data, there is however no shipping company that deletes the data permanently. People can look back for a couple of weeks with their track and trace code. Weāve asked multiple shipping companies if we could make data deletion possible. This is however not the case. Always be aware that there is some sticky data with an order that is shipped! Just like our great colleagues from nostr:npub1l5pxvjzhw77h86tu0sml2gxg8jpwxch7fsj6d05n7vuqpq75v34syk4q0n we make sure all data we can delete is being removed!
Weāre currently not aware of other signing device resellers that take your data as serious as we do. We understand this is bad for meh āmarketingā, but itās good for you!
