Really? Ok another one for you. What do you see here?

And if it’s not me, it’ll be the children of the plebs that will be free. It might take a while. Willing to put in the PoW.

Did you Create this with midjourney? We did use it for our valentines bitcoin heat grown flowers. This image looks amazing 🙏. Would you mind I use it for bitcoinbloem.com? GN PV

Just send the beta feedback to @primal that the post button didn’t work. Apparently it did. Now the post appeared 3x. How can we signal relays to take two of them down? Any quick way for that?

The idea is to build a bitcoin heater with s9s in the form of the bitcoin ₿. Fellow plebs, how would you go about this?

I believe you need less technical skill to hold and use than being able to drive a car. The plebs I come across are not anywhere near elitist and the hundreds of shops accepting bitcoin in the Netherlands are definitely not elitist shop owners. They like the saving character of it. Something which is deeply engrained in Dutch culture. Acquiring bitcoin is still possible by exchanging it for fiat. At some point you will have to add value to acquire it, just like with fiat. The difference is, bitcoin can’t be created by a few banks that enslave you through their debt creation. You can actually save for a future which is inherently deflationary. When talking to my elders of 80+ years old, they talk about saving a few years to buy a house. Sometimes a local lender got involved, but it could be paid back within a few years of hard work. From 1971 it all shifted towards large bank debt based society. The old generation here still doesn’t understand. "My yearly property tax is now more than what I bought the property for” is one of my favorites. Oh and this guy is 82 years old and holds bitcoin in self custody. He understands it really well.

I believe this linkin park album was an advise by nostr:npub1a2cww4kn9wqte4ry70vyfwqyqvpswksna27rtxd8vty6c74era8sdcw83a memories… 🔥

Great comments that answer questions you should be able to answer.

Throughout the years the land become further and further centrally controlled. This goes in cycles so we might move back to more decentralized control of land. From 1970s onward basically all land came under control of the state / banks in the Netherlands. I was driving around with my uncle and he build most of the roads in our region. He talked about the big land swap, that was conducted by the Dutch government from 1971 onwards. Throughout the country there were many protests as land was being taken from farmers back in those days. There was however unlimited money available to achieve the unification and scaling of our land. When you drive through the Netherlands a large part you see is centrally planned farmland. My uncle was thinking back to the time where general small regenerative family farming took place. Beautiful hedges marking the dispersed patched of land owned by many families. No wonder the protests were fierce at some locations: https://youtu.be/EHwSXiENxLU

Congratulations on becoming mainstream! We’ll see a lot of this coming the next few years…. Thanx for your PoW.

There is https://www.xapobank.com bank too that have bitcoin support. They even support lightning.

Thanx for letting me know. Xapo is not a bank within the EU and works with swift. For direct transfers revolut is under integrity check status with the Dutch central bank and works with local card payments and online payments Ideal. This is not the case for xapo unfortunately. https://www.dnb.nl/openbaar-register/registerdetailpagina/?registerCode=WFTKF&relationNumber=R183723

The first bank in Europe implemented bitcoin withdrawals and deposits. I tested a full cycle of depositing €100,- buying bitcoin, withdrawing it to bluewallet and sending it back to Revolut. Buying bitcoin at Revolut is rather costly, they charge 1,5% and there is a tiny 0.x% spread in comparison with some exchanges. The withdrawal cost is excessive though: €3,95. As you can see in the screenshot they charge a ridiculous fee. Also I had to wait 23 minutes before the transaction was send to the mempool. Revolut clearly overpaid to get their transactions through in the next block. Apparently they haven’t heard of RBF. For the return I paid 6 sats/vb instead of the 13 that revolut paid… conclusion: for a full kyc experience this is far too expensive and slow. Revolut apparently is not yet up to speed with #bitcoin. The question is, when lightning? Lost 28,5k sats for this test. You can thank me by zapping me 😉
