Yes, more trying to figure out how much work/cost it takes to revamp UI? How big would the bounty need to be to build your threading system back before you did it?
#[2] you have a nice UI, do you have any idea how much work (hours/cost) it would take to revamp the replies section under posts to be like Apollo? Like this:

#[2] same question for amethyst.
#[0] what size bounty do you think would incentivize devs to work on reply sorting/threading/collapsing/UI? 10M sats? I have no frame of reference for how much work it is.
I’m happy to make bounties to fund for things like this but idk haven’t seen that being a way Damus is developed so idk where I can make impact anyway, funds don’t seem to be the issue just need time and devs
On the contrary, Damus is the best iOS nostr app I’ve used :) and I use it daily and appreciate it ☺️

Reddit solved this. All reply threads in comments are fully expanded and nested by default (down to a certain depth and excluding spam), and users can easily collapse any comment and all replies nested under it. Users can sort the whole reply list by various criteria, for example here could be sorted by most zapped by default but user adjustable to be most recent or whatever else you cook up
Omg literally… just made a request for more explanation on your last reply because your Ui didn’t show me you already expanded on it…
Can you explain more about this. As a user it just always confused me why Damus’s threads were so unintuitive whereas amethyst at least you can read what’s being replied to. Isn’t it the same data you’re pulling down from relays?
Like the iOS system “app X pasted from app Y” little bubble that goes away after a little bit. https://www.howtogeek.com/692572/why-are-iphone-apps-pasting-from-other-apps/
A label that fades into clean beautiful invisibility after x seconds
Should have an ephemeral label show when you activate or deactivate to describe what mode is currently set
Thoughts on this approach? Not the same as nostr but kind of a convergent evolution with the way #[3] builds with relays

I’m going to mute you now, idk how many times I gotta say “at your own risk.” You’re not going to convince me to shoot my own foot as well, have fun. This debate has been done to death and only one side has actual real world examples of their mixes’ privacy being broken. If that changed the debate perhaps could be revived, but post-mix whirlpool utxos have never been shown to have been traced. End of debate for me.
That topic has been explored lots of times, most recently by Seth on a twitter Spaces, it’s been found wanting. Again, stay in their orbit at your own risk. Up to you.
My summary of that Spaces:

Here he basically says wasabi will never make alternate non censoring coordinators easy for users to opt into, citing how that’s why tornado cash’s capitulation to the censors didn’t save them. The project is rotten and riddled with cowardice and deflection. Stay in their orbit at your own risk. nostr:note1ku9jms9skcfhesjxk3x9ulxjpk5ahhk7y8z4gu7e5x70zzgvhyaspnjcz4
