Because with today’s abundance, if you only eat what naturally tastes good (sugar) you will make yourself sick. A ripe fruit was a rare bonanza back in nature, a summer and fall time delicacy to prepare for winter, no longer. https://nostr.build/av/b940709f82f5d7d24214d3789ecb7a4be70d12f0f083997b01d5a24eec3a9de2.mov
I think relays will have both free and paid services, could automatically prompt (or even automatically pay on tapping “post”) for LN payment when note is above certain number of bytes (ie images nip95). “Post (16 sats)” etc
🚨 Looks like imgur is now rate limiting lots of images on Nostr. I'm seeing this all over nostr:npub1lstr2kmdthkgfuzne8e4cn2nhr646x8jt25szdj7t4wr6xemtuuq3lczsj at the moment.
If you're still hosting you profile image on Imgur, it's worth moving it to something like nostr.build.

They’re not making money so it’s rational they’d limit like this. Paid relays, pay per image via LN is inevitable imo unless you want ads auto-inserted in your photo carousel when you upload to free sites.
Only if you can avoid the seed oils, a true feat at restaurants.

Fake Trezor Wallets Designed to Steal Bitcoin Spotted in the Wild
"The fake cryptowallet would operate as normal, but the attackers had full control over it from the very beginning. The owner had no protection whatsoever: the game was lost from the very moment the money first arrived in the Trojan wallet."

#[2] how can users reassure themselves a Passport is legitimate? Tamper proof packaging for me doesn’t prove anything at all. Thoughts?
“Moderation” is a moral, and now increasingly, a legal liability… vibe checking is a foot gun for platforms and users:

#[0] have you looked at #[1] for chat/file transfers? Does storm do all it does and more or are there merits? Thank you! https://simplex.chat/blog/20230301-simplex-file-transfer-protocol.html
Pasting*
Curious that @ then lasting noteID doesn’t have this extra ‘return’ issue like pasting after nostr:
#[1] ^ when I type “nostr:” then paste a noteID I have to manually go back and delete a ‘return’ character or it fails like above. Do I even need to type nostr: or @ or? What’s the best way to do this?
If you build a great product you can still profit. Open source is the new bar imo for anything involving key pairs. Look forward to trying out your app when it is open source, imagine the zaps you’ll get! I suspect this voluntary type of zap splitting with good projects will be a success: nostr:note1v4gyqs3czkfe4z52z006a0wzpca865ue9gt9jzkzqxt5wld7npgqh76np4
#[0] I like how Damus keeps drafts of things but often I lose track of the original note I’m replying to and the draft is there but invisible, need a drafts section somewhere to easily navigate back to them, or that idea like mail.app where drafts minimize into an icon so users can navigate around behind it
