Based in #Paris, I run a Wildcat! #BBS like it's the early #90s. J'écris les choses sur internet en texte brut. #fedi22

So bailing out nazis for being fired for being a nazi, because he is a nazi ?

I thought his mum already told him he couldn't have his little fight ? Also, considering the last streaming shit show he had, it'll be safe to say that we'll never see the evidence of this petty squabble

nostr:npub1mntjd5w4fjprq4ky7aacsdk688dz3a23rmlae2vqpcs9qrkjunrqcrknx3 we should just apply laws to make it impossible to hoard a million in the first place.

Tie CEO pay to the lowest paid workers, improve workers rights, kill of parasitic middle men companies, renationalise everything that is required for life - shelter, food, and transport.

Also using the existing laws to recoup the stolen money of the billionaire class would be great, but the political class and wealthy class venn diagram is basically a circle

Proton Bridge seems to be wanting to download my entire 70GB mailbox on to my hard drive, which totally misses the point of unloading all that data to not my hard drive in the first place

#LiveJournal Remember what you wrote on this day, 5 Août, in the past https://blog.sus.fr/~/English/LJ%20Post%20567727

Jarod is in grab at things mood. His target, my laptop keyboard

This is where we are

Jarod is a bit weird, he enjoys chilling out with me and then suddenly realises he’s not very cat and will run away to be in one of his many boxes

Google removing their X-Complaints-To header in Groups USENET posts certainly does say more than enough about the level of evil they aspire to be

I agree, these things are important as well. Thank you sharing! I've taken note s of those ^_^

Do you have other online translator that can do better in those areas?

ChatGPT might be an interesting thing to look at for translations, but I've not done it enough to know if it'll translate what you wrote or just hallucinate your original text

I’m making a serious consideration if I switch my email client to Alpine https://alpineapp.email/

You'll need to structure your text towards that of Norwegian to pass.

Deepl for French is great, it can totally screw up the structure of the sentence and has a tendency to swap tu (informal) and vous (formal) almost at will.

Deepl for Spanish - not great when handling Latin American Spanish, especially with localised slang

Based on my experience and testing, the following online translators are good for the following languages.

My favourite: https://papago.naver.com

* Korean (use the honorific option)

* Japanese (don't use the honorific option)

* Chinese

* Thai

* Indonesian

* Vietnamese

I haven't tested Spanish, French, German, Russian, Portuguese, Italian, and Hindi, which are available on #Naver #Papago.

Second in rank: https://deepl.com

* Brazilian Portuguese

* Portuguese

* Turkish

* Polish

* German

* French

* Italian

* Spanish

I haven't tested Bulgarian, Chinese (simplified), Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Swedish, Ukrainian.

For Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, I get complaints that the translation is weird. I use Naver's Papago translation instead.

Special mention, #DeepL is the only one with Brazilian Portuguese.

Summary:

1: Naver's Papago for East and South-East Asian languages.

Also, Naver's Papago translation service also offers OCR translation and pronunciation/voice, and other learning features.

They also offer an installable app for #Android, #iOS, and #Mac platforms, other than the web version.

2: DeepL for European languages

3: Yandex for Russian and other European languages, also good with Chinese (traditional and simplified) and Japanese (but I still prefer Naver Papago). Yandex also offers #OCR translation.

How about you? What's your experience with the #Neural translators above?

Or maybe you know of other Neural translator services?

Yesterday, I went for a 10k walk to the only big (read : cheap) supermarket in the area so I didn’t have to pay 5€ for bog roll. My legs still hurt and I realised I forgot something, so I shant traverse la rue thanks
