But he has a point, am a dad since a year now. Took us some years to get pregnant so ended up being parents a few years later than expected, you just never know. My uncle told me when his two boys were little that he became a dad too late, everything hurts and he lost his cool a lot quicker the older he got (his words).
But the little dude is amazing love (almost) every moment and it really helped me gain perspective, I now much more often just say f* that it's not important I'll go play / hang out with the little guy. Get energy back and achieved more in the last year than probably the 5 before.
Nä the dude was to scare kids to be good and the helpers are black from working in the colemines where they take kids that are naughty... At least what i was told as a kid.
I just installed GrapheneOS on a Pixel to test out - so far I like it and maybe a bit more than CalyxOS. Should run fine on a Pixel 6. Installation is easy, biggest headache was getting a fully unlocked phone. Meaning not only unlocked from any specific carrier but also unlocked so you can enable OEM unlocking (the bootloader). If you are buying used or refurb'd be aware than any phone that was previously tied to Verizon from a prior owner may be wiped and "unlocked" from a carrier perspective (i.e., you can pick whatever carrier you want) but it likely will not allow you to install a different OS, as Verizon locks the bootloader. To install GrapheneOS, CalyxOS or other systems to need to enable "OEM unlocking" on the phone and Verizon doesn't allow that. I had originally purchased a refurbished "unlocked" phone to play with but it was an old Verizon and the bootloader was locked. Returned it an paid cash for an unlocked new one from a retailer to ensure I could access the bootloader. Worked great.
There are a decent number of good tutorials and videos on GrapheneOS, but I followed the one linked below. Once you become familiar with the OS I'd also recommend watching a few of the "tips and tricks" videos on settings to enhance privacy. Also a number of good ones on Youtube.

From an iphone the transition might be harder, the camera is amazing. I stopped on iphones some 7-8 years ago. I got f-droide and the aurora store to install apps that works well.

Why only test? I use graphene os on a pixel 4 for about 2-3 years now. Really like how long the battery lasts and how little advertisement I see, ok that also depends on app vs website usage.
Often but then i think what did i do today walk through it step by step and if that doesn't send me to sleep i think about tomorrow and if that doesn't help i usually think about last vacations. But often you can't avoid what really is bothering you and then i just tell myself i'll pick it up again later.
