thank you! I'll give these a try. I think I heard that primal is really good. Have you tried Iris?
totally different from any social media i've ever seen for sure! I think I prefer the UX on mobile but it's honestly just cool trying out all these new things
I'm pretty familiar with bitcoin stuff! Found iris.to because of a bitcoin.review podcast where highlighter was mentioned. but needed an account before i could use highlighter so here I am lol
Thank you so much! Zapping back!
Heard about Highlighter on a podcast and wanted to try it out. Seemed like I couldn't create an account directly there so I set one up on Iris.to and then got focused here LOL
I've used Damus before, but never a web client - it's very different. I think I was expecting that "social media style" threads and it's different. Not exactly sure how... just different UX. But I'm here to learn!
Okay, still trying to figure out how to navigate threads here. Notification feed is a bit overwhelming and the threading isn't intuitive, but it's nice to see lively activity on a friday night.
If you were going to sign up for one single paid relay, which would you choose and why? #plebchain #nostr #introductions
I can already tell <3
I can't think of anything else like it, tbh.
One thing I'm trying to figure out... if you're new, how do your posts get visibility? My original post might have faded into the ether if nostr:npub14qz92uedt0a8jte8jqg63jr3s5cc99cej36jh883z6tprlu354uqqe2q26 hadn't reposted it and then you guys replied.
Best to just engage in conversation with the people I follow, and build up community over time that way? I guess using hashtags probably helps, too
I so appreciate the warm welcome 😊
I've played around with Damus before, but I heard about Highlighter recently and wanted to try it out. I've never used a website client before or tried to set things up from scratch.
It's such a cool ecosystem with everything connected/overlapping, and all these different ways of engaging with people and content. Blows my mind a little bit.
Oh, and threading of posts is super weird on Iris. Not sure I like it, but withholding judgment for now.
