The pace of block demand is outpacing block production. Mempools have well over 100 blocks of unconfirmed txs and unless production speeds up relative to demand the pools will not clear.

After a hot start this difficulty epoch block production has slowed. Maybe the all time high difficulty is getting the upper hand against hashrate. Interesting to watch going forward…

Watch version will do that. The web version has sounds on new block that can switched on in Settings. Can also set an alarm for specific block or number blocks in future.
Ok thanks for the video. I’m pretty sure I know what’s going on just based on that. As a purely client side app I am asking the browser to do a lot. The Pi is def exhausting resources to repaint the screen so often. I am going to troubleshoot this further and Im thinking a reduced animation mode might be a good idea. Also considering running an older version at a different url. Stay tuned. Really sorry about the we disruption…

And the animations are too much for my poor Raspberry Pi. I can't even access settings, as it's so heavy any click or scroll only registers after ~10 seconds or so.
Is it possible to have a square version for square screens (this is 720x720) and without all the transition animations?

Yikes! I will need to troubleshoot that. If you can send me any screen capture or video to help me understand better what’s going on would be helpful.
