This is hard core. When my grandma mentioned this for the first time, I couldn’t even believe it. Great reminder of the danger that the centralization of power brings. Still, people seem to have a short memory about things like this.

The point is that instead of the black (turned off) screen, you always see the time, widgets and notifications. Which I find distracting.

Not sure about other smartphones, but on iphone, it just goes to the screen with wallpaper, time and widgets. So it’s not like it just stays where you are in your activities. That, I would understand.
