Giving nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 another whirl again today. Set up a self hosted node and funded for 2M sats automatically with their LSP. Then set up a self hosted lightning address as well. Payments out all worked great with no issues thus far.
Might be worth testing with these low fees.

I just want to say I think the default Zeus color scheme is kinda rough and ugly. Dark theme ftw
Has anyone made a Bitcoin wallet program for a TI 83 calculator
lmao what??
"The US Gov alleges that FINCens MSB guidelines do not require control over funds as *checks notes* a frying pan transfers heat, but does not exercise „control“ over what is being transferred."

Tor, ISPs, Google and Apple for making the phones.... all MSBs now
I love seeing all the Europeans discover Strike and why it is a unique exchange. If you know you know. You can onboard people to the bitcoin world while they are still fiat enjoyers. You can charge dinner to your card, split the bill with your friends while you're out, and if they pay you via Strike you can actually be stacking sats.
Yes. It provides very unique properties for fiat <-> btc exchange
It is 100% just recieving fiat
Amethyst definitely has an option for it
I really hope they do release a backend. Would be amazing. The secret sauce of channel splicing at scale would be amazing to run at home.
It's not a backend LSP. It's a frontend client from what I understand and it still plugs into their ACINQ LSP and fee structure
They absolutely are, under this definition. By action or inaction they can prevent the transfer of money. Not just digital assets either, but every bank account mobile app too. They are clearly the largest illegal money transmitters in the world and have laundered trillions, maybe quadrillions in volume under these definitions 🤡
Mirror all of your GitHub repositories. Mirror obtainiums' repository too. Start working on reproducible build improvement. The good ole days of trusted third parties like GitHub are ending soon.
Phoenixd is not the backend. It's a frontend. ACINQs node still opens the channels to Phoenixd
I'll take channel splicing on my node whatever language it comes in
I'm just hoping for the best, I'm not gonna shit on them for running a business how they want. Crossing my fingers for a based turnaround.
Money, for sure, but if they are willing to abandon that for the whole US market, then let it fly loose
Because it would be extremely beneficial if they DID release the backend. Possibly world changing for adoption if you could implement Phoenix backend to many different UI frontends, decentralize the providers and fee structures.
ACINQ should release the backend but I don't think they will until the EU becomes as hostile
