# Get Started with Meshtastic

1. Purchase compatible materials to construct your Meshtastic device from a retailer (Rokland, Amazon)

2. Assemble your device, ensuring that the antenna is connected before powering on the device.

(May require micro screwdrivers (or soldering, depending on hardware purchased))

3. Flash your device with the latest stable firmware using the Flasher in a compatible browser (like Chrome)

4. Install Meshtastic app on iPhone or Android.

Whoa, read this note and it kinda gave me a lightbulb 💡 moment about the recent political messaging branding opponents as “weird” — weird means, at the risk of being pedantic, not “normal,” i.e. not one of us or not someone who complies with our group’s shared norms and behaviors.

It’s a way to tacitly compel the masses into compliance with the collective control apparatus (defined/directed by elites of course).

If society is sick, it’s healthy to be weird.

Do you encounter hatred here? I haven't come across much of it. I believe it will be less common here because there's nothing actively pushing people in that direction. Maybe I'm too idealistic, but I think most people are reasonable by nature.
