But "search" you mean a) searching for a keyword in all events or fetching, say, b) the user's event for some query?
For a I think the solution is to have a click house/bq and an API call. For b caching might actually do for 99% of users
No, it's a server side self hosted db.
It's the Yandex equivalent to Google's bigquery, and it's open source.
What's the usecase you're solving for? Have you thought of a caching strategy instead of a full db?
The last feature of https://jumble.social/ in 2025:
A reputation filter that hides notes from the bottom X% of users by reputation.
It works across feeds, notifications, and replies, and is especially effective at reducing spam when browsing large public relays. #devstr

How does an account get reputation? I like the approach but it typically leads to cold start problem
Depends on the usecase, of course
You can also replicate the data by streaming to an analytical db like click house or Google big query and avoid the indexes. It will just be a tad slower to update due to eventual consistency, but it is much faster for retrieval (and especially aggregations)
Will not *yet*
Just wait for it
I don't have the singer thing on this device. Will take a look tomorrow ;)
But I think the idea is great!

What exactly do you mean?
How about using bigquery's public block dataset?
SELECT count(block_id) FROM 'bigquery-public-data.crypto_bitcoin.blocks'
I think for pineapple you've gone too far! What have we become?
There is a device you can use to measure it, but I'm also curious.
Interesting to see. Don't agree with it, but curious where it will end
