Merry Christmas nostr!
I'll be spending the day by the pool trying to stay cool in 30ā°C heat & 99% humidity.
My elderberry flowers looked especially Christmassy this morning

Some gifts are priceless.
This probably wasn't one of them!
Have a great day. Remember to stay cool & hydrated!
I once went vegan for 5 days.
Can confirm the tears of joy!
š¤¦āāļø we don't plan the shitcoin, and never did that :)
It's a payment system for servers, no "coins" there, shit- or not.
Read https://simplex.chat/vouchers - it's been updated.
The plan is evolving - whitepaper is half-way done, the assessment of blockchain to build on is ongoing.
I don't see the need for an additional blockchain.
Timestamping can be performed on the Timechain & cryptographic signatures don't require a blockchain.
You probably already get a sense of the cost that the mere suggestion of an additional token caused. Shitcoins have cost most of us an untold amount of time & value in entertaining them. There's a good reason why we detest them.
If you need funding for servers I suggest you conduct a zap raiser each month to cover your costs.
I ever knew he was such a potty mouth!
What's with the coke & pringles in the bathroom though? š
Merry Christmas to you & Giacomo!
I can see your profile again š¤£
Can't zap though š«
That's horrific
I hope you have a great day man.
My 2 are still sleeping for 2 more hours before we run in & jump in their bed to wake then up.
Merry Christmas!
šššš is still in play
7 figures are not
ššā¤ļøš is the 'this time it's different'
My concern is that customs would grab it
They've already taken a few laser pointers for my safety
Struggling to buy a gift for the man who has everything this Christmas? Watch this.
Also available as 520W tripod mounted mayhem!

I'd love one to prune branches on some gum trees
Yeah there's a sweet spot.
I try to aim for about 120ā°C which is about 150ā°C on the probe built into the BBQ.
Too short a time & the connective fibres won't break down enough.
Too long uncovered (> 6hrs IMO) & you get dry meat especially in the bottom near the heat source.
I find transferring it to a dish after 5-6 hrs and placing a cup or so of water in with it makes it pretty full proof. Covering it is a good idea but the water stops it drying out. Water keeps the base from going over 100ā°C and keeps it moist. Too much water & the brisket losses it's flavour (a common problem I've found with restaurants).
The only thing to watch for is that the water hasn't evaporated. A good brisket has a lot of fat that renders & pools in the pan. It looks like water but gets a lot hotter. I sometimes transfer to an oven to finish which makes things a bit easier.
When I started my Bitcoin journey I had secrets that I didn't want the world to know.
I wasn't a very nice person. Fiat trained me like it trained all the other dogs in how to play their zero sum games.
I realised that I myself could be compromised & controlled with relative ease. I could become the weakest link in the chain.
It made me sick. I resolved to change my behaviours, my thinking & ultimately my beliefs. I wasn't on the take but I was a cog in the machine. I benefited from a corrupt system & passed the ball into the next dog.
A man who fears nothing is a dangerous man, a man who can't be controlled or compromised. I hope I became that man.
I don't fear God or worship Jesus, but I think we're on the same team. Have a merry Christmas but maybe go easy on the sauce. š¤
Of course. š
Aye - I'm probably not going to be on much tomorrow.
You'd have repeat customers if you charged a 5-8% premium.
I think selling Bitcoin for $85K is going to leave you with a whole heap of shitty fiat. I only need a couple of stacking customers to satisfy my fiat needs.
They're not going to spend it, they'll save it. You'd do the same in their position.
What you'd want to do is offer to buy it from stall holders at spot. Give them a Bitcoin accepted here sign.
I understand your motivation but most people won't trust you if they can't see how you benefit. The precious metals guy at my market charges a premium and buys from people below spot.
It's been 2 hrs.
You're either in a food coma or it didn't go as well as you'd hoped.
Brisket is a difficult piece of meat to really nail.
Nobody I interact with anyway.
There are many suss npubs but that's why we we developed discernment.
We developed discernment right?
Right? š¤£
