I just made some!
I deep fried them in beef tallow.
The perfect cure for an indulgent Christmas day!
I can't say that the elderflowers imparted much flavor but the flowers made for a crispy delicate batter structure. Most of the flavor came from the batter & icing sugar I feel.
I was surprised at the tenderness of the stems once cooked.
Very enjoyable.
I found a little green frog hiding in one of the flower bunches but it hopped off before I could snap a pic. I'm starting to really like this plant. It's brings so much life into my garden.
I've come to believe that non physical entities are born every time 1 or more humans share a set of common beliefs around a subject.
I first noticed this phenomena within the corporation & within divisions of the corporation. It confused me because it defied the nature of my reality at the time. I didn't really have the ability to perceive that which wasn't physical.
I've come to define these non physical entities as pendulums & I see them everywhere now & in a wide variety of forms. I borrowed the term & idea from the book Reality Transurfing, by Vadim Zeland. In it, he describes Pendulums as having one goal, Adhearance. Non-adherents suffer the rath of those caught up in the pendulum's swing & in doing so often get drawn into it's gravitation pull. Religions, political philosophies & schools of thought are some of the more obvious examples but they don't always have to be so long lived. A pendulum can last for as long as a rock concert & can still be extremely destructive.
While not all pendulums are destructive, they often are. Bitcoin is a pendulum of sorts but the structure is quite unique in that adherents are ironically called upon to not adhere. It's somewhat selfregulatimg as it uses creative destruction to prune & renew itself.
Typically only a chosen few personally benefit from a pendulum's swing & they're held up as shining examples of why the pendulum is so great. In this too I believe Bitcoin is different & will become a huge pendulum. Every Bitcoin adherent personally benefits from it over time. These benefits aren't equally distributed but they're distributed fairly.
The key takeaway I found was that you can't destroy a pendulum by fighting it directly. It will just pull you in & feed off your energy & attention. A pendulum is destroyed when it loses adherents to feed off of. Eventually a rock concert ends & all the energy is dissipated. Democracy ends when we no longer worship it's ideals & illusory benefits.
I remember that day everyday when the light found my way into my heart. Grateful for making my life of service. All problems have solutions .

I've contemplated ending my life more often than I care to admit. There was always a part of me that knew it wasn't the end & that it wouldn't solve anything.
I think deep down I fear not fully living more than dying.
There's no wrong way to live, every choice carries it's own meaning & has it's own lessons but I feel leaving before your soul is ready carries a heavy cost.
This reality isn't easy but I don't think we need to make it so hard for ourselves. I serve others because I know we are not seperate. What I do to others I ultimately do to myself & I want to expedience how far up this goes.
It's hard to know just how far we've gone for us to get here in his now. I'm grateful for the company.

Better the protector than the handle!
Merry Christmas man.
I've missed seeing & hearing you.
I hope & trust you're living your best life.

I don't know so much, I try not to judge what other people do with their permissionless money.
Bitcoin changed the way I viewed & interacted with the world. I thought I was weird until I saw that it was changing others in a similar way.
My mistake was assuming that it had the same impact on everyone. I've met such a wide variety of Bitcoiners from so many different backgrounds that are at so many different places on their Bitcoin journey.
One of the most interesting questions you can ask a bitcoiner is 'what is Bitcoin to you?'
It's surprising just how diverse these answers are.
Oh that's pretty unique!
I'm going to have to try that. Thank you π«
Just so you know for next spring, they grow really easily from woody cuttings.
Just cut a length from a plant & then when you get it home, it into lengths about 20cm, remove the leaves & stick them in soil. Super easy.
We've hit 33 now, according to BoM the forecast was for 32 but I reckon it'll get a little hotter yet.
The flowers or berries? I've never heard of using them in pancakes, just for making syrup.
I planted a little cutting last autumn & I pruned it to a stump early spring. It's grown another 7ft in 3 months.
Cool plant!
Yeah we've just had our summer solstice.
Christmas is always hot & we traded the Turkey for prawns, oysters & fresh fruit.
Merry Christmas nostr!
I'll be spending the day by the pool trying to stay cool in 30β°C heat & 99% humidity.
My elderberry flowers looked especially Christmassy this morning

Some gifts are priceless.
This probably wasn't one of them!
Have a great day. Remember to stay cool & hydrated!
I once went vegan for 5 days.
Can confirm the tears of joy!
π€¦ββοΈ we don't plan the shitcoin, and never did that :)
It's a payment system for servers, no "coins" there, shit- or not.
Read https://simplex.chat/vouchers - it's been updated.
The plan is evolving - whitepaper is half-way done, the assessment of blockchain to build on is ongoing.
I don't see the need for an additional blockchain.
Timestamping can be performed on the Timechain & cryptographic signatures don't require a blockchain.
You probably already get a sense of the cost that the mere suggestion of an additional token caused. Shitcoins have cost most of us an untold amount of time & value in entertaining them. There's a good reason why we detest them.
If you need funding for servers I suggest you conduct a zap raiser each month to cover your costs.
I ever knew he was such a potty mouth!
What's with the coke & pringles in the bathroom though? π
Merry Christmas to you & Giacomo!
I can see your profile again π€£
Can't zap though π«
That's horrific
I hope you have a great day man.
My 2 are still sleeping for 2 more hours before we run in & jump in their bed to wake then up.
Merry Christmas!
My concern is that customs would grab it
They've already taken a few laser pointers for my safety
