cargo install brk_cli
That's it.
The release is closer than ever, very excited

Anybody got alternatives to uBlock Origin now that Chrome has banned it? The idea of using a web browser without an ad/scam blocker is out of the question.

It's all finally coming together

Sent an *instant* SEPA transfer yesterday to another European country and yet it still hasn’t arrived
We mustn’t have the same definition of instant
Fuck the Euro 💶
Fuck the banks 🏦
Fuck the ECB 🔥
Most Rust crates work but not the website
Pull the v0.5 if you want it to work 🤙
No sorry completely broken right now, very much still a wip 🚧, doing my best to make it usable asap
And also created a new repo for `biter` which is now `brk_parser`, fixed a bug where it was hanging and consuming an infinite amount of blocks before crashing and it now supports XORed block files (which is the bitcoin default !)
Spent two full days helping to fix a bug in Fjall (KV Stores) but it was worth it, the new indexer works great and is very fast (<1sec updates, and much faster initial parsing of the chain)
To be fair it's only a handful of datasets, the bare minimum needed to be able to compute the rest (which the brk_computer will do) without needing full blocks which I still need to re-code but still, quite happy with the results
Onward

Settled on:
Bitcoin Research Kit (brk)

It’s a bit more than that, the toolkit is for everything about parsing/processing/computing data from your node but thanks for the suggestion
Thank you !
but just to be clear kibo.money will still exist (and the domain/website will too !), it'll just be a smaller part of the whole project to motivate others to experiment
I'd love to see what kind of website people create with all the data at their fingertips
gm y'all, I need your help
the more I work on the next update and splitting + reworking everything in separate libraries the more I realize that the scope of kibo.money as a "brand" is too big
I've decided to rename the whole project to something more generic and less branded, very similar to bdk/ldk to make the project less like **my** project and more the community's
**The brand kibo.money will live on** but as a website only and when running the "server" part of the kit you'll have a choice of which front-end you want to run, kibo.money will be one of them and will be the only one at first as it's the own I'll be focused on but anyone will be welcome to work on another one without needing to worry about the backend
Anyhow,
here's a board with multiple possibilities, with 3 acronym that should be avoided so those 3 are a no go:
- bitcoin data kit (bdk)
- node data kit (ndk)
- node audit kit (nak)
