Not the journalists! Anyone but the journalists. Won't someone please think of the journalists?

As of this morning I can no longer view people's tweets on twitter. I don't have an account but this never prevented me from seeing tweets before. Now I'm consistently presented with the login screen.

Might be unintended, or might be evidence supporting nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx's theory that brain chip guy's objective is complete verification.

So much winning. Bottom flap?

My guess is the prime trust suits probably don't have access to those keys. I'm guessing some upper middle manager is trying to pull a Keyser Soze.

Agreed! I did a lot of driving back in March, multiple round trips of about 7 hours each way. It was great! I caught up on podcasts, listened to the entire bitcoin, explained backlog and listened to a few songs from back in the day. Very soothing.

It's the first time I read utxhos. Great innovation.

My kid just caught a frog. Summer is off to a good start.

Exactly right! Still would have liked a year or two or three more of not competing with Blackrock for sat acquisitions.

📣 Announcing SimpleX Server (https://simplex.chat/) for StartOS, now available on the Start9 Registry 📣

Brought to you by #[0] 👏

TLDR: SimpleX might be the most promising solution to simple, private, decentralized messaging yet!

So far, it does direct messages, group messages, calls, voice messages, and video calls, and everything is e2e-encrypted and can be self-hosted.

Like Nostr, SimpleX is neither P2P nor federated. It uses servers to relay messages. You define which server to use for receiving messages, and your contacts define which server to use for receiving messages. Every conversation is likely to use 2 different servers!

Servers are simple relays adhering to the SMP protocol; they do not store profiles, contacts, or groups, and they only retain messages until they are delivered to clients. Read about the SMP protocol here: https://github.com/simplex-chat/simplexmq/blob/stable/protocol/simplex-messaging.md

SimpleX was designed with Tor servers in mind, and since servers do not connect to each other, there are no issues with interoperability: https://simplex.chat/docs/guide/privacy-security.html#using-tor

Wow you guys are awesome. I've been running start9 os ever since 0.3 came out and it's been great!

I know it's father's day but I gotta say I love this woman.

Hopefully they go back to brrrrrrr soon! Let's get this over with! The whole jacking up of interest rates is very cruel, it's causing mass misery.

It's amazing how they let it go so far. The guy is on fire. He's doing so much good. He's undoing years of vaccine propaganda. And now the hotez guy drew tons of attention to him. And he's still alive!

Yes exactly. "crypto" is pure snake oil. That being said, the crackdown is politically motivated and any pull back from the crackdown will be politically motivated. Protecting the prolétariat was never in the cards.

Based judge too, no jail time. Great to see that in that specific instance at least the justice system didn't stand in the way of justice.
