The stoics have many life hacks to live a good life. One of these hacks is voluntary discomfort. You voluntarily choose to endure discomfort in some way to cultivate appreciation for what you already have, practice resilience and to prepare and train yourself for when you encounter inevitable ‘real’ discomfort in life.
These do not have to be huge discomforts, they can simply be something like going without air conditioning on a hot day for ex.

Is strange, this is a feature not a bug tho.
In my experience one on one conversation, when it naturally comes up. Show them how it works, make a transaction with them. I make it known I’m interested in BTC and have had calls asking about it months/years later from friends/ coworkers, We are prob heading in to another one of those times in the next year.
This resonates a lot, been practising Vipassana meditation for 6 years and learning about Dhamma/ universal law of nature.
Thank you.
In my experience it is easily forgotten that we are part of nature, that we are indeed nature in motion.
We work in buildings, drive cars, live in buttoned down homes, stare at screens, live a modern life, which of course is pretty amazing but this can also obfuscate our roots and disconnect us from our origins.
Because our modern life is steps removed from nature I actively seek nature.
Get sunlight in my eyes
Walk bare foot on the ground
Swim in lakes
Breath work - the breath is a gift, we can slow the mind consciously with our breath, we can also gauge the condition of the mind with our breath- is our breath fast and shallow? is it slow, deep and relaxed? the breath is linked to the our present moment state of mind. We can also observe our natural breath in meditation and in doing so observe nature within.
Have an amazing day ☀️
What is the opposite of fear?
