But on first sight I did not recognize the letter "Z" in it.

It wasn't until I saw the name "Zeus" that I realized it.

Thought it is some kind of a slash "/" surrounded by some other symbols and connected it as something related to coding.

I guess coding topic contributed to this logo. :)

For my taste it has to be a little more clear that it is a Z.

But yeah, just my little opinion on this.

In the end it doesn't change the fact that your app works great for me.

OK censoring people completely is definitely a red flag. If there was no communication up front about the rules.

You are defining it as a "tiny fraction". Who decides what is tiny or when its a lot?

It would already be to much for me if my teenager kids would see just one NSFW pic. But for this, filters could be implemented I guess.

I'm a bit in a dilemma here in my head. On one side censoring is bad I know, but on the other side I think Primal is a just a product and who but not the creator can decide the rules? They are putting their lifetime in it and can decide which track they want to go with it. But fortunately they have to compete on the market and the best will win.

The beauty in nostr is that the protocol is censor free and always offering an alternative.

But I definitely will keep that move of Primal in my head. Hoping for another Android client coming up that fits my needs.

For example do they censor that Someone cannot post about a certain topic or do they censor specific persons from posting anything?

I saw some note from you weeks ago when that topic was hot. But was hard to follow you as it seems that you have a lot of know how on that teccy background stuff. Which I'm lacking of.

So please tell us what nostr is, so we can understand it and not just framing people who are using Primal as ones who dont understand nostr.

That kind of framing is mainstream media bullshit.

Im testing Primal right now on Android but do not want to defend it or so. Seem quite nice but still a way to go. (Im not a teccy so I dont know what is going in in the background.)

Damus is my favorite but switched to grapheneOS because of Bad acting of Apple e.g. zaps on Damus.

Amethyst is completely overloaded in my opinion. Probably the right app for many, but I dont think not for the masses.

These apps have to be straight forward. Good looking and running smoothly, easy to use and deliver what you want to have when starting that app. The masses dont care much about censoring and shadowbanning as long it does not hit them and as long they get what they want from the app.

(I mean you could clone the memes site 9GAG on nostr. Maybe you could setup a client and censor/shadowban everything except of memes. So the client is censoring but still fullfills its purpose. )

Damus is doing a great job. But iOS :( But is has to be mentioned that Damus got funded as well. Not from VCs but I guess it would not be where it is today without that money.

Im still missing a Damus level client for Android.

But I like that people, like you, are ranting and making public about whats happening. So maybe they will change their directions.

Even if in this case with

Primal, it is just one clien of a few. If someone doesnt like it, he can move to another one. Thats the best signal for the Devs to correct the direction if majority of users are leaving.

Im using Zeus on my grapheneOS which is connected to my raspiblitz node.

I connected Zeus and my node via Lightning Terminals "Lightning Node Connect" (LNC).

Works much quicker than through LND (REST).

But back to your question. Yes it worked for me with LND (REST) as well.

But really strange that there is no response message wether something is wrong or not.

Try asking the Zeus team directly through their Telegram channel.

Hope you will get it running.
