Cashu.me is a Chaumian Ecash wallet for Bitcoin built as a progressive web app (PWA). Today, we're excited to announce its first release and would like to thank all developers and users who have helped to build and improve this wallet. Cashu.me is free and open-source software released under the MIT license.
To get started, open Cashu.me in your browser and install it to add it to your home screen. We recommend to use your device's native browser for the best experience. Beware that Ecash is a bearer asset which means that if you delete your browser data or lose access to your device without a proper backup (see below), you will lose your funds. Use this wallet only for small spending amounts.

Does the cashu app need to be open for zapping?
I mean you can't be sure that the seller is an OG Bitcoiner with high end privacy skills.
With mixing I meant that maybe the seller bought some no kyc coin and at some point he moved them to his main wallet where his kyc coin are on. No one knows what comes but when the financial institute want to see the pubkey, they will notice that other bitcoin except of his mentioned kyc coin are on it. So they then want to know where these are.
Then he says he sold on bisq and shows them his bank account where your name stand on the bank transfer.
I hope it is understandable. And I mean there are many manyb more possibikities.
But maybe I'm just too paranoid 😅
But here is a little trust involved. You have to trust the seller that he sells nokyc coins. That he managed his utxos right and did not mix nokyc and kyc. And many more variables possible.
The best solution for me is buying amazon cards with cash and using it on robosats to buy bitcoin with that amazon card by posting the redeem code in the robosats buyer/seller chat.
No matter what mistake the seller made, the link to me is broken as he does not know who he got money from.
Drawback is that there is not much liquidity with amazon cards. So it can happen that you need a few days to find a seller.
Do you pay with FIAT on bisq or these other no-kyc platforms?
Because I used bisq with FIAT but then I thought what happens when the seller one day has to disclose his bitcoin tradings to his government or financial institute or whatever? Then my name (I used bank transfer) is on the list. So they will come to my door next time. So I put these UTXOs to my "KYC-Stack".

What chains?
Why would I risk putting my Bitcoin on other chains which are not as safe as Bitcoin?
The problem is trying to get privacy after getting Bitcoin eg through KYC. And it does not matter what you do after this. You cannot hide because there's this record of you buying Bitcoin.
The government won't come to you and ask for your Bitcoin holdings and walking away again after you tell them you lost your BTC in a boat accident.
They will put a tax on unrealized profits and then you have to pay and they will calculate your KYC Bitcoin as a basis.
They will get from you what they want if you left footprints from beginning.
The only solution I see right now is to make it right from beginning.
You sell all your KYC Bitcoin over time to avoid taxes if possible in your country and buy BTC with cash. For example you buy physical amazon cards and sell them for Bitcoin for example on robosats. No one knows that you have Bitcoin then.
Bitcoin is decentralized, so don't buy Bitcoin on centralized exchanges. And only in cash.
If you make a bank transfer and if the person you send money has to disclose his transactions to authority, your name will be listed. So you would be the next one.
In the end this won't work for the masses. But the Bitcoin OGs can hold safely their invisible Bitcoins until some Time when the trojan horse plays out and bitcoin wins and they can use their bitcoin for whatever they want because the government collapsed and a new Bitcoin based Government is established. Or whatever happens after that Fiat shit show collapses.
