Dang. My follow list got nuked. I wonder what happened. I think it was because I followed via nostr nests.

I think we need a backup for clients that will automatically merge follow lists when they get wiped.

In medieval times, the king was at the front line when they went to war. Only coward kings sent their subjects to fight without them. We need to consider the rulers of this day and age also cowards.

Amethyst on the phone and Coracle on my desktop.

I think that's it. Looking more closely, it appears the woman's forearm descends lower and around the man's, reappearing underneath the hand. That is unless the man has six fingers on his right hand, in which case I know a man who is looking for him.

Will this make a CBDC world safer? And by this I mean getting more people in a system that could more easily become Bitcoin-only after a crackdown, rather than a system that is already Bitcoin-only that fewer people actually use.

Here's an interesting idea: put into the sale contract that the purchase of MicroStrategy will cause a distribution of Bitcoin to it's shareholders, rather than dollars.

Bitcoin, from a Christian perspective, aligns with the idea that money should serve the purpose of aiding in the love of neighbors. Unlike fiat currencies that are controlled by governments and central banks, Bitcoin operates on a decentralized network that is not subject to manipulation or inflation. This means that the value of Bitcoin is not eroded over time, ensuring that individuals can preserve their wealth and use it to help others in need.

Bitcoin's limited supply of 21 million coins ensures that it is scarce and maintains its value over time, unlike fiat currencies that can be endlessly printed, leading to wealth concentration in the hands of a few. This scarcity feature of Bitcoin makes it a more equitable form of money, as it cannot be manipulated to benefit a select group of individuals or institutions.

Furthermore, Bitcoin's peer-to-peer nature allows for direct transactions between individuals without the need for intermediaries, enabling financial empowerment and inclusion for all. This aligns with the Christian principle of loving thy neighbor, as Bitcoin facilitates the transfer of wealth to those in need without any possibility of interference or censorship.

In contrast, fiat currencies fail to fulfill the definition of true money as they are subject to manipulation, inflation, and centralized control. This goes against the idea of money as a social tool to spread wealth and aid in the love of neighbors. Bitcoin, with its decentralized and transparent nature, better embodies the principles of true money by providing a secure and reliable store of value that can be used to benefit others in a fair and equitable manner.

MSTR will be one of the most powerful and wealthy organizations in all of human history midday through next decade.

Perspective distortion in hand drawn art is difficult for some people, I guess, or did the artist really want to make them that big? 🤣

The sentiment is true, though. The earth is inherited only by the children of those who procreate.

It's worse than custodial Bitcoin, and it is basically exactly how Robinhood "offers" Bitcoin. You "own" it, but the only thing you're allowed to do with it is sell it back. No deal.

PS: are you considering releasing on Nostr via Flare.pub?

I had a really great evening with a friend at his 3 year anniversary opening his classy cigar lounge. As with every evening like these, we got to talk about basically every one of my favorite topics 👍 including bitcoin+nostr!

Religion

Politics

Cigars and pipe

Whiskey and other spirits

Tolkien and Lewis

Business

Cars

Family

What more could a man want in an evening?

Check out how legit this place is! If you're driving through central Missouri, stop by and say James Lewis sent you.

That's the carbs finally leaving your body. It takes a few days. A lot of the weight you lose right off the bat is the extra water your gut needs to process carbs. This is why fiber (what retains the water) is so important in carby diets, but not at all in no-carb diets. You'll also notice needing to use the restroom less frequently. This is just your gut needing lower mass flow for the same nutritional value.

Whatever you present, keep in mind your purpose: to help them understand and form intelligent opinions about Bitcoin.

Before selecting what media will best serve this purpose, consider what difficulties they may have. Most people's objections will fall into one of four categories. From my article:

● Philosophical

Considering what money and currency are, & whether Bitcoin fits that description

● Moral

Considering the morality of holding & using decentralized digital currency

● Technological

Considering the technological advantage of Bitcoin as a currency

● Practical

Considering the practicality of Bitcoin in particular as money
