#plebchain
Here I am belatedly, introducing myself a second time, the proper way with #plebchain hash.
I am a #womanofscience and a newly minted #sats stacker.
Already been here 5 hr and have 17 followers! Much interaction.
I think you are correct and actually Wikipedia is wrong: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parallel_postulate
Missing the co-planar point.
But @brave #Brave browsers ai assistant gets it right: “It states that through any given point not on a line, there passes exactly one line parallel to that line in the same plane.” -brave summarizer
1 for AI, 0 for Wikipedia.
I still don’t trust AI. Like to think for myself.
In two dimensional geometry only. (They must be in the same plane)
Non parallel skew lines don’t meet, in 3d. And 4d is just crazy.
At least might tweet didn’t fall into the great abyss!
And I lost my #zap virginity all at once.
#nostr #nostrdev Looking for some people to follow.
I follow back.
Trying out some tags to see if anyone sees this or if my #tweet goes into the abyss

Layoff season seems to be behind us in big tech as the recession seems to have been a myth and quarterly earnings have shown growth for most that have reported.
Apple is the one company that showed discipline during both the boom times by not overhiring and the slow times by not resorting to mass layoffs.
Steve Jobs left the company in great hands. https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2023/05/04/apple-layoffs-are-a-last-resort-tim-cook-says.html
Apple is growing, and I can’t give up my iPhone, it is insane to think about how much I spend on app subscriptions! Probably well over $500/year, now think about all the people like me who can’t give up our apps.
Tim Cook is a money making machine.
Yestarday, I saw the Oppenheimer movie with some work friends. I thought it was well done and is important for two reasons. First of all, the threat of nuclear war is greater than it has been for decades. This movie may help people get a better sense of the danger. Secondly, some of the questions they dealt with about should such technology be developed and used are now being asked about artificial intelligence.
If you are interested in learning more about Oppenheimer and the Manhattan Project, the documentary "The Day After Trinity", is free to watch right now here:
https://www.criterionchannel.com/the-day-after-trinity/videos/the-day-after-trinity
It was filmed in 1980, so there are people still alive who knew Oppenheimer and/or saw the Trinity test, and their reports in the documentary are interesting. Robert Oppenheimer's brother, Frank, has interesting things to say.
I am excited to go watch, and see how “accurate” it really is.
Don’t want to start a race war (and I am not a woke Asian) but do you really think they would have dropped the bomb on a Caucasian population like Germany?
Count 1 more convert. Just discovered (reheard) about #bitcoin been reading a lot over last couple weeks. Excited about stacking #sats.
Hope I’m not a day late and a dollar short.
Interesting that the bitcoin founder and devs were discussing this back in 2010.
Just thinking if quantum computing breaks #btc there will be a lot of other things broken as well, like basically all private secure communication and financial transactions etc.
To think I would ever be discussion the implications of Schrödinger’s wave equation sends shivers up my spine. That’s one college book I am glad I will never open again.
Was wondering about this. Heard Google hit quantum supremacy, but I have no idea what that means and was wondering if that could affect the price of bitcoin
GM #nostr just joined and set up my profile. Who wants a zap? I will follow back.
