What happens at a bank, is fraud. As long as fraud has a remedy, it's been allowed to continue. The ignorance of how the 'borrower' signs the Note, is what causes their own hardship.

Either fill out EXEMPT and stop filing (they haven't chased non-filers since 2016, from a report, does not surprise me) or go through dontbeaslave.com's process (more extensive). I won't say exactly what I've done, but I've done it since ~2000 and never paid wage tax afterwards.
It's voluntary. It's always been voluntary.
