to be honest with modern car tech this is probably unnecessary unless the road is prone to icing over. but when we had a LADA in USSR it would be defeated by the tiniest slope. i remember seeing a western car ( it was like a Honda Civic ) just fly up a steep street in Kiev as a kid and i could barely believe it. when i left Ukraine the cars there still didn't even have fuel injection.

if you write everything as one block it will be a lot harder to break it up into paragraphs later because you won't know where the breaks in the thoughts are without having to re-read everything. but it is super easy to look at individual, well spaced lines and decide which ones can be combined without having to read those lines - only glance at them.
