I’m thinking about going back to nostr:nprofile1qqs9g69ua6m5ec6ukstnmnyewj7a4j0gjjn5hu75f7w23d64gczunmgpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumt0wd68ytnsw43q4gnztg from iOS. I did this a few years ago and I loved it. The problem was that I needed apps for my job that were only available on iOS and found myself carrying two devices most of the time. That’s no longer an issue.

I want to utilize private, secure, open source apps. Apps that have paid features aren’t a deal breaker, especially if #bitcoin is accepted.

The challenges I ran into before was finding apps for navigation (OSMAND was quite buggy for me at the time), weather and music streaming. None of those are deal breakers but I’d like to find solutions.

Any privacy minded #grapheneos users have some solid app recommendations or alternative solutions to the conveniency trade offs? Drop suggestions in the comments pleaaaaz.

FWIW: I’m not a dev. I’m not a coder. I don’t have a “portfolio”. I have bitcoin. I save bitcoin. I spend bitcoin. I don’t care about an SBR. I don’t care about institutional investments. I care about my family. I like freedom. I appreciate privacy and sovereignty. I like bitcoin and I like nostr. I don’t particularly care who else likes or doesn’t like the things I like.

Massive props for getting out there and actually doing the damn thing. I’m enjoying watching this journey.

I see a lot of posts lately exclaiming that #kyc and #IDverification are coming. It’s not coming. It’s here. It’s been here for a while. This is why we #bitcoin. This is why we #nostr. The rest of the world may be just waking up to this realization but we’ve been prepared for this. Maybe we should put down our phones and tell our friends there’s a better way.
