For generations, this is what we do for those of us who live in the mountains. Itβs not a sport, itβs simply how we live. We hunt, we forage and we live just as well as the city folks.. if not better.
So donβt come here and try to change our way of life. We donβt go around change yours. Leave us be.
Thank you!
Some people realise very late in life that they prefer to be lied to by those closest to them than be told the truth.
These are some of the truly miserable people. They seem happy but their happiness is shallow and short lived.
Itβs the beginning of hunting season in my state. Iβll be gone for a while.
Oh I have tried reverse seared steak. I think itβs one of few ways to make a perfectly cooked one. Also best for thick cuts.
There are only a couple of places I have eaten tartare and in both restaurants it is their specialty - what theyβre known for. I also know where their beef comes from.
Itβs definitely not something Iβd eat every day.
Correct. Iβm just saying I donβt go rare but medium rare or Iβll do raw instead. Rare steak isnβt that great imo.
Medium rare for me. If I want rare, Iβll go with beef tartare.

Sadly, no. I would have loved to. Maybe a bit young to really appreciate it when it was operational. My dad did have his chance then.
