My 10 cents on how to make X great:
1. Limit tweets from the same profiles in my feed to one in 12h
2. Have 3 folders in my DMS: primary, requests, spam. Right now requests&spam are in one folder with 1/99 ratio. If I follow someone, it should land in my primary inbox right away.
3. Limit the amount of video content in my feed. If you dont do this, the textual content gonna die out, cuz video content is simply more compelling and X gonna turn into TT/IG. Better have another tab for Video. Same as YT has shorts. Protect textual content at all cost on X.
4. Instead of having 1 algo, have 10 algos and mix their outputs in one feed. Right now once creators crack the algo, they(us) exploit it so quickly and entire feed start looking the same. I wanna see a mix of threads, short tweets, long articles, videos, clickbates, conversy and more. All in one feed.
5. Don't overhype one viral topic. E.g. one day my entire feed for the entire day was about that indian dude who worked for 50 YC companies at the same time. It was so annoying I had to mute his name.
It happens all the time, 90% of the feed is occupied with one topic only, really boring and highly regretted minutes.
6. Limit the reach of accounts with a bad verified/non-verified follower ratio. This way you'll limit the reach of low quality attention farmers who work in attention farming networks.
7. Resurface my bookmarks in my feed all the time, to remind me about them, otherwise I bookmark and forget to visit them back
8. Create "primary" notification tab, where you show only notifications from: accounts I follow & big accounts. The "verified" tab isn't enough.
9. Improve search in my DMs. Make it possible to pin, tag & star chats
10. Send daily/weekly/monthly newsletter with things I missed from people I follow

Wasn't there a recent survey that shows what personality types are more likely to be in Bitcoin? Your story reminds me of particular archetypes that are more likely to grasp bitcoin. I don't remember my own type but definitely an I.
I believe a key factor is about friction and opportunity cost.
Its basically reducing friction + additional DCA in my opinion.
You get higher interest rates from certain banking products, sure, but what is the payout frequency?
Are those in money market funds or short term treasuries or something with a longer payout?
If the payout takes longer than a month, are you going to manually take out the dividends every, lets say, 3 months, to buy bitcoin? What if bitcoin does a 30-50% increase in that period?
Again. Up to users. Some users will love it. Some may not see the point. Its totally fine. I see it as value add for users who want to make better use of their cash thats allocated to bitcoin purchasing anyways.

Random thought on progressive improvements via taking action more than staying still.
1) Many big youtubers started off with some basic, low production value channel. Quality improves over time.
2) Many manga drawers' art styles improve over time. Check their first few chapters against the chapters 50+. You'll usually notice significant aesthetic improvements
3) Thinking about getting fit vs just moving your body. Start walking for 10 minutes, then 15, then 20, or increasing that weight-lifting rep from 6 reps to 10 reps.
Just keep doing stuff. Keep shipping.
People who give you a hard time are probably going through a rough period themselves, either internally or externally.
