Hadn’t crossed my mind but that’s a cool idea! I thought for the charcoal to filter things you had to do some steaming process that “activated” it? I’ll have to look into it :)

I want to see if I can make charcoal out of pinecones because we have several… well, around 20 pine trees and they dump pinecones, and those typically just get burned in a burn barrel. I would be more interested in converting them to charcoal for later. I also have heard that you can use them in a garden if you turn them into charcoal, so that could be interesting as well.

This definitely pissed me off… I’m sold on capitalism, my initial statement is based on providing value to receive it. I appreciate your science based replies later. But I’m annoyed by this one.

Grateful to have noticed it. If I wasn’t outside screwing around with a charcoal project I’d have missed it

I was so distracted by life on the ground I had no clue this was happening. So cool :)

Once upon a time I paid my rent customizing wp sites. I miss those days. But they’re dead now, and mullenweg just screwed shut the coffin…

What is to keep a clever hacker from maliciously installing a “trusted“ app on all of my friends’ phones and tricking me into installing the Trojan horse as well? My trust in their ability to have good opsec?

(It’s a trick question, I have no friends 🤭)

I left wordpress at precisely the right moment. Or bitcoin opened my eyes at the right moment… if it can be sabotaged it will. If you rely on the workings of others you and your project are at risk… hmm. 🤔

13. Horizon - Inktober prompt.

Thanks to nostr:npub1n47jznzclhr8kzyyv6dtl4cqeltuzuajngx93m3flw2sdw9kfmaqjh8w74 for the idea of combining my work. Made making this one a lot easier since I already had a sun. 👍

Was also fun to work on a technique I learned from Stefan Große Halbuer about how to draw irregular shaped objects in isometric. Still need a lot more practice, but I like the way the boat came together.

❤️looks great!

I was curious if you or any users of npub.pro have any thoughts on setting up a page for selling an item? Would love to have a listing for my yo-yo if possible 😊 would it require self hosting on GitHub?
