What are some good nodes to open channels to? Specifically, nodes that are connected to nostr services? I'm thinking if I'm putting up liquidity anyway, it would be cool if it also helped other people in this space...

Android App idea I'm too stupid to implement:
I would call it "ALL SEND".
There would be absolutely zero interface to see anything on nostr except for the note you are drafting.
A clean tile interface where at a glance I can select which kind of note I want to send.
There should only be three tiles.

One question that concerns me a lot: what happens to my funds when a mint goes offline?
They are not your sats. They are your receipts for sats You deposited into the mint. You should be able to back them up locally for later use unless the mint has gotten large enough to make an exit scam unresistible to the operator.
A note to developers:
Make nostr apps simple.
So far olas is the only nostr app I would feel comfortable sharing with friends and family. "Full clients" like amethyst and nostrudel (my favorites) are way too complicated for my wife let alone my grandma.
A side note to creators:
Make every note a banger. Genuine original content that can't be found anywhere else.

Keeps crashing the app unless I turn off videos for everything.

I keep getting these scam real estate texts for properties I have no association with.(2-3 a day)
I just going to try scamming them back now.
I should mention I don't believe these real estate companies are at fault but rather the lead generation companies that sold them my number. My hope is to make it clear they got bad leads. And maybe get some sats along in the process.
