I use damus mostly, but primal is a great tool for discovering new people to follow. Searching for people you don't follow often comes up empty on most clients, although it's improving. Early on you'll find "posts and replies" most engaging than the main feed. Check out some hashtags as well. Some of the more active ones that aren't bitcoin or nostr specific are #grownostr #running #foodstr and #coffeechain. Happy to help if you have other questions.
I only see reposts in notes and replies on damus.
Finally finished this conversation between Lex Fridman and Stephen Wolfram. Over four hours long and I could've listened to another four. Wolfram is such a fascinating guy. #AI #lexfridman

Me too. But then I read this and I’m not technical enough to know who’s got the more correct perspective.

A lot of people on Nostr are bullish on lighting network (it’s easy to we why - zap zap).
Anyone have thoughts on this or the tweet Paul quotes? #lightning #bitcoin

I have nothing to say about #garlic. But here’s a picture of a stuffed moose I saw at a museum.
Makes sense. Thanks! nostr:note1r77rhmtzpzdcm5s528he0464zs267sm4lm47k8ev7avhce6l3gnq95vrlh
So this will render markdown in long form notes in other clients, like Habla but you can’t use markdown in the damus editor and have it render it. Is that right?

Good morning! Made a big breakfast. #foodstr #coffeechain

It’s actually impressive how bad Siri is at this point given how long it’s been around.
Seriously, go watch this video of the Apple commercial that introduced Siri, and all the use cases they demonstrated 11 years ago are the only things I use it for to this day.
Maybe when apple puts an LLM on iPhone it will get better.

I don’t understand people who play slot machines. I can understand the thrill of gambling. But in the form of slots… I don’t get it.
nostr:npub1n6g4js374378t90rrh4jyeqaqf537ce0qygu79u4r5mgf7qn8hkqk3watk I've heard him on a couple of podcasts, most recently Rich Roll covering his new book. I'm heavily considering getting his book even though it seems that his protein consumption recommendations seem way higher than all the other longevity research I've been following. That's doubly true if it drives excess consumption of meat. His workout recommendations also seem excessive, not as in unhealthy but unnecessary. The only comment I really chaffed at when I heard him in an interview, which I admit may have been to get soundbite-like and not what he says in his book, is that this "guarantees" you'll live to be 100. That is not feasible. I've thought about trying to listen to his podcast but something about the way he talks that I can't put my finger on makes me tense in the same way listening to the Oxyclean guy in the infomercials does. He may have a different presentation in his podcasts though. I'm hoping that Red Pen Reviews eventually reviews his book. I consider them the gold standard on that.
That’s for sharing your perspective. I don’t know much about him so I appreciate your thoughts. Honestly, the guy he interviewed was more interesting than him. (Which, I guess is the point of an interview.)
I love this guy.
