You're ending up streaming the audio through that. It's a separate thing from apps accessing data.

But I don't know, it must be sneaking through the bluetooth somehow.

If I have android auto in the private space, I connect it to the car and play music from the personal space, how is it that android auto plays me the song that is playing in the other space (which has no google services or android auto)?
I don't understand it at all.
