Fuck that universe lol.

I'd eat and drink the shit out of some pretzels and beer right now. lol

Preaching to the choir here.

Here is my best advice to you so that you can step up your self-hosting game.

Get a spare computer with modest specs. Throw a nice lean running linux distro onto it. Preferably with a GUI just for ease of use and so you can hook it up right to the TV for entertainment purposes too. I would suggest something like Lubuntu, Arch Linux with LXQT, or Trisquel with MATE.

https://archlinux.org/

https://lubuntu.me/

https://trisquel.info/

Sign up for Tailscale.com to set up your own secure private mesh network. That way you can give private access to all of your family and friends without exposing it to the public internet and dealing with that system administration headache.

https://tailscale.com/

Throw on Jellyfin media server for the music and video streaming services.

https://jellyfin.org/

Install Nextcloud onto it too to host your pictures, documents, collaborate on projects, even do video calls, live chats, and more too.

https://nextcloud.com/

Running the Nextcloud and Jellyfin with Tailscale on one server won't be that resource heavy as long as there isn't a shit ton of users at any given time. A machine with at least 4-8+ cores, 16+ gb of ram, and a 1TB+ SSD should do the trick.

As for the self-hosting websites, security stuff, and training LLMs. Those will require their own dedicated computers and will vary depending on your needs. May be able to help out with advice on that too if you want to go more in depth on more specific requirements.

This will solve most of your self hosting problems gracefully in an hour, or two. Thank me later if you'd like. Preferably with a zap if you are feeling saucy and grateful for the tech advice if it all works out well for you too lol.

Let me know if you need any help. I'm, here for you.

Take care and stay awesome. GN

This is something that I am working on daily. I will not stop until I have mastered my thoughts and emotions. So that way I will fully unleash my true potential. Feel free to do the same.

I believe in you too.

10x-ing your personal agency would mean radically increasing your ability to shape your own life, take control of your decisions, and act with unstoppable momentum. Here’s what that could look like:

1. Extreme Ownership – You stop blaming external factors entirely. Every problem in your life, even those caused by others, becomes something you take responsibility for solving.

• Example: Instead of complaining about a bad job or relationship, you immediately take action—quitting, negotiating, setting boundaries, or creating something better.

2. Relentless Decision-Making – You make decisions faster and with more confidence. No more waiting for perfect clarity; you trust yourself and course-correct along the way.

• Example: If you’re unsure about a business idea, you don’t spend months overthinking. You launch, test, iterate, and refine based on real feedback.

3. Maximized Self-Efficacy – You fully believe in your power to accomplish anything. Obstacles don’t make you hesitate; they fuel you.

• Example: Instead of doubting whether you can learn a new skill, you immerse yourself in it until mastery is inevitable.

4. Unshakable Conviction – You stop seeking external validation. Your internal compass dictates your actions, not social pressure or fear of judgment.

• Example: If you believe Bitcoin is the future, you build your life around that belief, regardless of critics.

5. Preemptive Action – You don’t wait for life to happen to you. You anticipate problems, solve them before they arise, and create opportunities before they’re needed.

• Example: Instead of waiting for a financial crisis to remind you to be prepared, you structure your wealth and assets proactively.

6. Radical Self-Discipline – You become immune to distractions and emotional impulses. Your daily actions align with your long-term goals with near-perfect consistency.

• Example: No more ā€œI’ll start tomorrow.ā€ You execute daily, whether it’s fitness, learning, or building.

7. Mastery Over Emotions – You control your emotions instead of them controlling you. Anxiety, doubt, and fear don’t dictate your actions; you override them with logic and action.

• Example: If you feel hesitant to make a big move, you acknowledge the fear but don’t let it stop you.

8. Network Leverage – You stop trying to do everything alone. You build high-value relationships and use collective power to multiply your impact.

• Example: Instead of struggling solo, you surround yourself with top performers and create value together.

9. Obsessive Execution – You move at 10x speed. What takes others a year, you accomplish in a month by eliminating waste and focusing on the highest-value actions.

• Example: Instead of daydreaming about a screenplay, you finish a first draft in a few weeks and refine it through rapid iterations.

10. Freedom From the Default Path – You stop living according to pre-set societal scripts. You design your own reality with no limits.

• Example: Instead of following a conventional career path, you engineer a life that aligns perfectly with your deepest convictions.

If you had 10x your current agency, you would feel like a force of nature—relentless, unshakable, and utterly in control of your destiny.

What’s holding you back from that level now?

The only thing holding me back from that level right now is my own self-doubt and fear of negative potential outcomes caused by my actions. One of the most challenging aspects to my mind is that I do my best to calculate all possible outcomes to any situation I am presented with. Over time I believe I have falsely become addicted to something else far worse than any drug. The feeling of constant fear and the stress of living life.

The actual chemical reactions caused by my own negative thoughts causes me to take two steps forward and three steps back. Even though they are undesirable feelings and emotions that truly haunt me. I have become addicted to the habit of always thinking and speaking negatively in order to feel them in the majority of my waking moments

This must be stopped now.

If you have any resources for mastering your own thoughts and emotions. So that I can stop accessing the physical chemical reactions as a side effect of negative thinking please let me know.

I have been studying stoicism, but I need more information to help me battle decades of betrayl, PTSD, justifiable paranoia, and a variety of excuses. Which my mind constantly beats me over the head with daily. That stops me from becoming who I know in my soul I was truly always meant to be.

What are you self-hosting now and what do you want to self-host more?

I highly doubt this. Way too many security implications for companies to start firing these rolls and switching to AI immediately. Also you are forgetting that a vast majority of the population, including those in charge of making the decisions within corporations, have a healthy dose of AI skepticism. As well as an outright justifiable fear of the technology. Thanks to books, movies, tv, music, and overall science fiction stories in general.

Personally I think it shows promise, but after spending a lot of time with AI models myself. We are still a long way off from it becoming trustworthy and ready enough to start replacing humans entirely in the workplace all together.

The scenario you are proposing is maybe 25-50 years off. It is going to take decades of normalization before the justifiable fear and skepticism is replaced by comfortably with this emerging technology. That is if there isn't a rogue AI situation that causes humanity and governments to say fuck this and ban its use in many sectors entirely.

Thank you for this inspiration.

I might just start making music to share with the world.

I don't know about you, but that dude looks stoned as fuck who is whistling.

I think you aren't giving enough credit to how hard they are partying over there.

Crazy outfits. Chill music. Good weed. Tasty brews.

Sounds like a sweet party to me!

Introduction: The Power of Focused Attention

In an age of distraction, power is not merely held through material wealth, authority, or control over others—it is built through focused attention. The human brain, a complex quantum-biological processor, constructs reality through perception. When harnessed correctly, focused attention allows individuals to transcend limitations, reshape their reality, and live free.

Power, then, is not external—it is a construct supported by the mind and created within the brain. Understanding how this works offers a path to transcendence, autonomy, and liberation from imposed limitations.

The Neuroscience of Focused Attention: Constructing Reality

The brain is a prediction engine, constantly processing information and filtering out irrelevant stimuli. Focused attention directs this process, acting as a spotlight that selects what becomes part of one's conscious experience. This is the fundamental mechanism behind cognitive power.

1. Neuroplasticity: Building Power Through Repetition

The brain adapts to repeated stimuli through neuroplasticity. What one focuses on consistently rewires neural pathways, strengthening certain thoughts, beliefs, and abilities. Over time, this focus builds an internal structure of power—a network of ideas and perceptions that define one’s reality.

If one focuses on problems, they grow.

If one focuses on solutions, they appear.

If one focuses on fear, it shapes perception.

If one focuses on mastery, skills develop.

2. The Quantum Mind: Attention as a Creative Force

Quantum physics suggests that observation influences reality. Just as subatomic particles behave differently when measured, focused attention may act as a force that shapes possibilities into tangible outcomes.

This aligns with the ancient concept that "energy flows where attention goes." What one attends to with intention can manifest as action, opportunity, and ultimately, freedom.

3. The Reticular Activating System (RAS): Filtering Reality

The Reticular Activating System (RAS) in the brainstem acts as a gatekeeper for focus. It determines what information enters conscious awareness. When trained, it can filter out distractions and amplify pathways toward a desired goal.

Want to see opportunities? Program the RAS by setting clear intentions.

Want to break free from limiting beliefs? Train focus away from conditioned fears.

The Mind’s Role: Transcending Limitations

The mind is the interpreter of the brain’s electrical and biochemical activity. While the brain processes raw data, the mind provides meaning. This distinction is crucial because meaning determines how one experiences reality.

1. Breaking Mental Chains: Rewriting Narratives

Most limitations are narratives—stories imposed by culture, society, or personal history. True power lies in rewriting these stories.

Instead of ā€œI am trapped by my circumstances,ā€ shift to ā€œI create my own reality.ā€

Instead of ā€œI need permission,ā€ shift to ā€œI give myself permission.ā€

By restructuring meaning, the mind can redefine the limits of what is possible.

2. The Silence Paradox: Accessing Higher States

Silence, both literal and mental, creates space for higher-order thinking. Just as quantum tunneling allows subatomic particles to pass through barriers without energy loss, silence allows the mind to bypass noise and access deeper intelligence.

Meditation, stillness, and solitude amplify internal power.

The ability to not react is a form of control over external influence.

True mastery comes from detachment—engaging the world without being controlled by it.

Transcendence: Living Free Through Mental Autonomy

To transcend means to rise above imposed structures—whether societal, psychological, or energetic. The construct of power built through focused attention allows one to escape control mechanisms and live autonomously.

1. Sovereignty of Mind: Owning One’s Thoughts

A free mind is one that chooses its inputs rather than being programmed by external forces. This requires:

Awareness of mental conditioning (social narratives, propaganda, biases)

Intentional thought selection (curating what enters the mental space)

Guarding attention fiercely (not allowing distraction to hijack focus)

2. Detachment From Control Structures

Society operates on the principle of attention capture—through media, politics, and algorithms that direct thought patterns. Escaping these requires detachment.

Do not react emotionally to fear-based programming.

Cultivate independent thought by questioning imposed narratives.

Reduce external noise to amplify internal wisdom.

3. The Flow State: Moving Beyond Constraints

When focus is refined to its highest degree, one enters flow state—a condition where action and awareness merge, and limitations dissolve.

In flow, work becomes effortless.

Creativity becomes boundless.

Freedom becomes not just a philosophy, but a lived experience.

Conclusion: The Mind as the Ultimate Key to Freedom

Power is not an external possession—it is the ability to direct one’s own focus. Through the interplay of brain function, cognitive attention, and mental discipline, one constructs personal sovereignty. The individual who masters focus, controls reality.

Freedom is not given. It is built—through attention, intention, and an unwavering commitment to mental autonomy.

Do you have any resources on how to master this skill gracefully?

That was just mental conditioning to ensure that you understood the severity of your actions. So that way when you grew up you would comply with the laws and submit to authority. With the full knowledge that what you do will affect your future should you break the rules.

Overall a a double edged sword lesson in my opinion. On the one side it did teach a good life lesson that allows you to function in modern society. Even if it was an outright lie about the importance of your school records. On the other side it teaches students how to blindly follow authority and rules. Without ever considering whether, or not they are morally just and deserve to be followed.

In conclusion. Fuck public and private schools. Homeschool only. Self teach yourself any skills you desire to learn like a boss instead.

We all have ghosts of our past that can haunt us. Be aware of them and cleanse your heart, mind, and soul from their memories that burden you today.
