I keep hearing this but I don't get it. I use both Firefox and brave regularly and they seem almost interchangeable to me. Brave is a cleaner and faster ui when you delete all the BS but Firefox has the container extension so I can isolate Google. But in general both "just work" and I haven't seen anything that would make me want to switch.
Is by any chance your son president elect to the United States right now?
Disagree. I'd love to be a campaign manager and just go crazy with creative campaign events. Seeing the sparks of brilliance in Trump's campaign with the McDonald's or garbage truck is great but I'd go so much further.
Not even gonna vote for either but I would love to have fun and go crazy on such a task. I genuinely think I could win the election from either side with a 100 EC lead if I had full control over their campaign.
Tmw you have narrowed a user down to only a billion people (he's fucking finished and you own him now)
Saw this video in my feed, and seeing Lavader I instantly clicked on it to watch.
While watching I realized I literally didn't even know that Austro-Hungary invaded Serbia.
I just sat there thinking how they taught literally nothing at all about European history around WW1, which is among the only thing they did teach. They mention the assassination of Archduke FF over and over a million times as the starting point for WW1 but they don't even bother teaching the few steps of escalation from there to the war.
Its literally just
1. Some Serbian kills the archduke
2. ...
3. France and England are fighting the Germans.
There is little mention of any war with Austro-Hungary and literally no mention whatsoever of Ottoman Empire except that they were there.
The curriculum seems to be constructed intentionally empty so that you just associate it with WW2 view it through the same lens. They don't say it out loud because it's obviously false but all of us came away with the idea that the Germans are the big bad warmongers and that WW2 was just a replay of WW1.
Please
If I host it on my own relay, then link to a picture in a normal kind 1 with a relay hint, will my followers see the pic on my post or does clients need to be made to fetch it as well?
Is there a nip for storing the media itself in the note rather than just a link to it?
Opsec only goes so far when your dad keeps posting you on his own social media app
Bro I just found it funny. Great episode btw. Love your work.

One of my favorite ever clips is the Seth for Privacy interview with the Silent Link founder, specifically the moment where Seth is doing his usual schtick where he talks about privacy from a philosophical point and sentimentalizes it. He asks the guy if he had childhood experiences that created his passion for privacy.
Now this Russian guy doesn't have an answer and it feels like he wants to say "the fuck are you talking about? We sell esims to drug dealers."
Here's the episode. It's pretty good overall.

Its quite amusing how CNN is a global brand but will spew contrary propaganda endlessly. CNN Türk and CNN both work entirely for their respective regimes and parrot their talking points with no thought about the other.
Its hilarious to see CNN Türk use the same nasty tactics to spew a narrative completely counter to the US and The West, which CNN USA would label as an insane conspiracy theory.
I think translating some of these segments would be instrumental in showing how insane the propaganda in the US is to the losers who still watch it.
You could make it customizable. Put both on a log-scale and let us edit the multipliers.
However, I'd like it to not have precise location, and only the nearest town or city is enough. Maybe it's easier to just manually divide into regions/subregions and let users pick what to follow.
https://dearrow.ajay.app/ is a very good thing that exists.
It not only makes browsing YouTube much better and saner, it also makes it very clear right to your face how retarded things can become when everybody is desperately trying to cater to some platform algorithm.
This is so amazing. I was planning on making a nostr fork of this a while back...
We need a key managing app container, similar to Umbrel but for mobile. It should be like an app store for all your nostr apps where with no setup, the downloaded apps will ask it for any signature so none of them ever see your keys.
Just like Google play has a app store, and also manages Google authentication through its api, this mega-app should essentially be that for your nostr identity.
You currently have net negative interest rates. If money is sound, that's not possible so it will certainly be higher than it is now.
I think "risk free" rates (which don't actually exist but people believe in them,) will be super close to zero, but risk will be much more appreciated, to the point that 99.9% of borrowers will see even nominal interest rates higher than they do now.
We won't see interest rates go down, we will see it become such a bad bargain, that no one will borrow, except from absolute desperation. If you observe history you will see this for as long as there was a self custodial gold standard.
From the nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx told you so X files:
When X unveiled its newest terms of service, which go into effect on November 15, users quickly picked up on one change.
“By submitting, posting or displaying Content on or through the Services, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to make your Content available to the rest of the world,” the terms of service said, which includes the right to analyze any of that content “including, for example, for use with and training of our machine learning and artificial intelligence models, whether generative or another type.”
Basically, by continuing to use the platform, users will agree that X can use their data to train its AI models.

Oh no, the tweets you are posting publicly for everyone to see will be seen by ML. The actual bad part was shutting down API access to supposedly restrict 3rd party AI training. That completely killed the 3rd party clients, which is the only way I ever used it.
You shouldn't be angry about AI training on your speech. I hope all my notes are read by all the parties undoubtedly training LLMs on nostr. If you are posting your world views publicly for everyone to see, you should want AIs to see it, because it will incrementally bias their outputs to be closer to your opinions.
