Agreed. The implosion is slow. All other currencies will fold before the dollar and I don’t see those dominoes falling just yet. We’re a long way out.

The lambos will have to wait.

Lol. Most of that sounds like your typical religious conservative. You might be playing for the wrong team 😁. No judgment here.

Interesting take on libertarian/socialist/progressive. Leaving out the progressive label (since the meaning can vary), how do you merge the ideas of Libertarian and Socialist?

Also, how do you imagine UBI working without fiat? Where would that money come from without a central bank issuing money on demand?

Forgive the questions. I just don’t see how most progressive ideas are workable without a fiat currency. From my view, they’re dependent on an economic model that is outmoded by bitcoin.

There are only two modes of distribution for any good or service, price or rationing. Either people bid through price action or someone outside the market divides it and reallocates based on its own discretion.

Being that government doesn’t produce anything, where would they receive the funding for something as large as UBI if they couldn’t print the money?

My 94 year old grandmother was a seamstress. She made herself a suit and kept well over 10k in various pockets on her person.

This was very difficult to explain at the airport. 🤦‍♂️

I hear you cryin about people making money. If you feel plebs are uninformed, then educate them for free. Plenty of free material out there.

While you’re at it, build your own relay, client and wallet. Don’t collect payments for anything. Live your ideal.

Building the clients, wallets, plugins and services that makes all this possible?

What do you call it?

So you want all the freedom, none of the work, and you want it all for free.

Got it. 👍

Same. Didn’t give it a second glance. It’s my DCA day and the only thing I see are sats.

Proof is in the pudding, isn’t it? Rather presumptuous, honestly, as an outsider to criticize.

If you have ever lived in a 3rd world country where gangs and cartels run everything from the local bodegas to judges and government offices… you might feel different about “due-process”.

El Salvador wasn’t safe. Now it is.

It’s that simple.

He’s given his people sovereign money and a crime free society. If he was a malevolent dictator, he wouldn’t give up his biggest lever over the people… their currency.
