Not to mention they haven't been able to keep a single peace agreement. They push into the West Bank, there's a conflict, they agree to stop new settlements. Rinse and repeat.

By settlements, I mean militarily ccupying land that's not theirs and making life hell for those that actually live there with military checkpoints and harassment. Eventually pushing them out to make way for Israeli expansion. It's just bad business.

There are zero possibilities that Israel did not see that attack coming. They are the foremost intelligence agency in the west. Which means it was allowed to happen to justify what's happening right now.

Israel is not an innocent bystander that just had to defend itself. There are plenty of Orthodox Jews opposed to the current war and Israel's conduct in the region. I'm not an expert, but I'm open to the insights of those that live there and have a different opinion than the typical "Israel does no wrong". There is not a consensus among all Jews here or there.

To claim that people who disagree with the carnage are somehow either leftist, stupid or responsible for the perpetual conflict is intellectually dishonest.

I love my family. I stand with my family. I support my family. But sometimes they fuck up and are the asshole in a situation. When they do, it's only proper to tell them so. That's where Israel is right now. No excusing what's happening.

The whole idea of a democracy is predicated on an informed citizenry.

Ironically, the two things we would need to understand in order to be informed are money and politics. The two things considered rude to discuss.

gotcha. I feel similarly. I do think it's another nail in the US dollar coffin, but other currencies are so much more broken that I don't think it will make an impact any time soon... hence trajectory. 🤷‍♂️

All currencies are falling in value, but USD is still falling slower than everyone else. For those creators of goods and services, they won't notice because the currency isn't as important as the value they create. They'll exchange for whatever currency makes sense.

The ones that suffer are the ones that are locked into wages. Inflation will continue. Things will get more expensive. Those that can't adjust their wages, will get hurt.

Doesnt mean the end of western civilization, though. I agree.

I guess I'm not understanding where you're coming from. Text isnt the best medium for exchanging ideas but are you saying that de-dollarization shouldn't matter to those that are dependent on the dollar?

they definitely ended it and are finally talking about this in mainstream. Does it mean we hit hyper inflation this year? no.

It's about the trend. The trend is away from the dollar and with it, the importance of the US dominance. And yes, oil has been traded in other currencies but OPEC, the largest producer of oil, had it priced in dollars. That's the difference.

The less we can offshore our debt, the faster we see the era of cheap and stable currency go away. With it, the purchasing power of the US.

it's not that simple though, and will take possibly decades to play out. Most nation's currencies are in worse shape than USD. It'll be a while before the world transitions into a new winner.

For most on here, the clear winner is Bitcoin.

If only it was a Boeing... it could've taken out 3 buildings with 2 planes. Amateurs.

Good luck.

I'm surprised no one is talking about Saudi Arabia effectively ending the petrodollar by declining to renew that contact.

This event displaces the dollar as the world's preferred currency, IMO. it may take a few years to play out, but the US may have just lost its reserve currency status.

The west apparently doesn't know just yet.

Gm, I woke up late (again) but my girlfriend cooked salmond with potatoes & salad for me 🐟

Anyway, last night I had yet another nightmare.

The same guys who 16 years ago marched with Ron Paul to protest against the crony capitalism on Wall Street & the evilness of banks were now cheering for Bitcoin ETFs.

They would run analyses, compare volumes, and then act like they’re confused when high ETF inflows don’t pump the bitcoin price.

Dude, I thought you knew you were dealing with crooks who are regulated by government institutions that don’t want bitcoin to succeed.

Of course they want to maximize ETF NGU and make the real asset underperform in comparison.

Of course they trade paper bitcoins and most likely aren’t 100% backed by reserves. God only knows how frequently they are legally required to make settlements and how they make sure to manipulate demand in order to keep the BTC price suppressed.

Did you honestly believe bankers & Wall Street guys are your friends? If they were honest, bitcoin would have shot past $100k a long time ago.

Welcome to the new paradigm, where a bunch of institutions that hate Bitcoin are in control of the demand (and therefore price action). Will they make the number go up? Probably, but their game is to tame the BTC while making their ETFs look like a much better investment.

Are we better off without them? Of course, but even these OGs seem to have a hard time dealing with reality. Maybe that they are happy there’s enough liquidity for them to sell their bags and they’re supplying the ETFs while virtue signaling the plebs.

Maybe that the bad bears are among us. DID YOU THINK OF THAT?!

Oh wait, I woke up from that shitty nightmare. What a relief!

💯. This is the exact same way they've kept precious metals surpressed for decades. it's the exact same game.

They control price by turning Bitcoin into paper Bitcoin and short the hell out of it. Our crowd cheers. 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Almost makes me want to open an x account. you have to get him on nostr.

Male sexuality became "Toxic" and was surpressed by leftists fighting the patriarchy. Simulateously, pornography became mainstream.

Mixed social messaging sent boys into their rooms to jerk off. It's not rocket science guys.

You just have to be old enough to remember an America before Obama.

😂 fair enough.... I deserved that one. I've been looking at options in Latin America, none seem easy.

Except for Trump. He finished what was on the plate and then brought stability to the middle east.
