Anyone have recommendations on a nostr Shopify alternative? I know there are a couple out there but I would like to know if there is clear winner so far? I’m looking to fire up a store and would love to base it on unruggable tech. Pura Vida

So I’m driving around in suburbia on a rainy Saturday, and there’s this one guy on the roof of a bank with a ladder.

Part of me is like “who works alone on a roof on the weekend?” And the other part is like “Nobody robs banks anymore, and I mean it’s right in daylight on a crowded corner, so of course it’s legit.”

Probably the funnier point, regardless of what this guy is doing, is that if you just do something with enough confidence, a lot of people will believe you probably belong there.

today marks my official 2 years on #nostr

here are my 2 year stats

i started my npub completely ignorant to bitcoin. i just turned 22 years old, i had zero care for self sovereignty. bitcoin was at 22k on the day i joined.

originally i joined to see if this was an avenue for people in iran to be able to freely express themselves without fear of persecution from the regime. today, we have numerous of beautiful iranians here proving their freedom, despite the threat.

through the community i was taught bitcoin. regular people, just like me, took time to teach me about self sovereignty, not because they were getting anything out of it, but because they genuinely believe in its value to the world.

seeing the enthusiasm of these kind people made me enthusiastic. that first week, i decided to buy my first bitcoin on nostr:npub1cashappn03s3cl2ljsdntv0v28e2um5lgx4vjctqjt23pcwzjhsqmtdg5l.

Now, my life has changed for the better because of it. Because of nostr, because of the PEOPLE of nostr.

thank you to everyone on here who has showed me the kindness i never felt or seen on the internet , despite being raised online. there are far too many people to count.

thank you nostr, i got to grow up here.

My college roommate for two years was from Lusaka. He told me so many cool things. Learned a ton about his faith and culture. He stayed with my family. Really good bud. Was nice to not have a language barrier. Need to reconnect with him. Been 20+ years.
