I’m so glad I went down certain rabbit holes years ago before AI image creation was released to the general public.

Don’t be too concerned with how many people are ‘on your side’. Only be concerned with having the truth on your side. Because if you stay loyal to the truth time will be on your side.

There are two types of people in this world.

Those who feel frightened or threatened by new knowledge that challenges their preconceived notions….

And those who embrace or even get excited when they’re faced with paradigm shifting revelations.

The Dreamer

Original has sold but prints are available.

It certainly makes one put in more care and to double check the grammar.

Thoughts on AI generated art.

An artist’s perspective.

There’s a lot of chatter and even panic in creative communities lately about what effect AI generated art such as that created by MidJourney will have on art as a profession.

I’ve pondered the subject a lot and have even tried it myself, to see if the program could produce what was in my mind. I was somewhat disappointed as I couldn’t seem to prompt it to do what I wanted it to, but the results were interesting none the less.

I wondered whether I could use it just for inspiration or to create references that I could paint. But I came to the resolution that I won’t use AI art programs for any of my work, simply because I believe it could effect my natural creativity, leading me to become creativity lazy.

I theorise that what will happen to upcoming generations is that we will see a decline in natural creative abilities because as they say, use it or lose it.

Creativity can be seen as a muscle that needs to be flexed, and it could in fact have a positive impact on more traditional forms of art such as painting, because it may become something people do less of, so true art collectors will be in search of more authentic works created by real humans.

However for illustrators and digital artists I believe it will probably have a bad impact on the amount of work available for them.

So Bitcoin bros, and gals. What’s the deal with NFTs?

Being an artist on Instagram rarely a day goes by that I don’t get at least one scammer creep into my DMs and tell me they want to buy my art and an NFT.

I’m aware how the scam works. They direct you to some random obscure site where you pay to mint the image.

I want to know what peoples thoughts are on the more mainstream platforms like OpenSea though, as I do know artists who’ve made decent profits from it.

Do you think there will ever be an NFT platform that is backed by Bitcoin as opposed to Ethereum?

Space is real and awesome.

This seems like a very cryptocentric space and I plan to spice it up a bit with some fun accounts of UFO sightings I’ve had as well as insights on why I believe it’s an important topic people should take more seriously.

I’m interested to see how this community develops. Hoping to connect with some appreciators of art and questioners of things.
