I have no idea if this would work with ticks, but I would go buy pure peppermint oil, lavender oil, and any other potent oils you can get. They are good at repelling insects. Put them in a spritzer with water shake up and spray all over your clothes every hour or so.

It would burn your skin, so be careful.

If you want to put some on your skin, diluted reallly heavily with a carrier oil.

Really any combo of the following pure oils might be worth a shot:

Cinnamon , eucalyptus, oregano, clove bud, lemon, rosemary, sage, camphor. Lavender , lemongrass, peppermint, thuja , and litsea cubeba.

You can find premade combos under similar labels to “thieves oil “
