Beautiful apartment but insane prices. I lived in a tiny studio on Cornelia street not too long ago and paid $3300.
That's a decent price for a studio. The hard thing is: quality of life, sunlight, location, and affordability IMO

downside is you lose bars, restaurants, grocery stores, and often easy airport access.

The argument against me leaving is that buying a home/land somewhere new and living alone with no friends around feels sketch. If I was a guy, I probably would do that. As a woman, idk about that.
I feel you and makes sense. I made that jump as a man, but have female family that’s shared your same apprehension. moving to a new place is hard without a partner!
if you decide to take the leap, my advice is to look for social groups for activities you’re into. I found friends in a weekly trail running group and mountain biking group.

Wow i honestly dont know how people are scrapping by with the costs of everything. It feels so unsustainable. You could live on the beach here in 🇵🇷 for 75% cheaper than that. Plus can get tax benefits of no capital gains or taxes on dividends if you apply for the tax grant. However even here I seen the prices of everything double especially in areas where all the Americans are living on the tax grants like Dorado Puerto Rico. Where Logan Paul lives now.
