How to Fail: A skill I teach my football players and students.
Learning how to fall (failing) is one of the unsung skills you must master to build a rewarding life.
When I was young, I didn't think much about getting 'good' at falling down, but I certainly felt the pain of those falls before I learned how to handle them. As a dirt bike rider and football player, I fell over and over again. In the beginning, the falls aren't that traumatic; at a basic level, hitting the ground doesn't require much skill. But as you reach higher levels in any activity, the falls become more intense, requiring the ability to fall gracefully.
Broken collarbones and fractured wrists made it easy for me to see how the mechanics of a fall truly work. Life and business difficulties aren't much different. You will fail, and as you grow, those failures can become significant setbacks if you don't know how to land.
Just as you learn to 'roll with the punches' in physical sports, you must learn how to recover, learn, and rise to the occasion repeatedly in life. Getting good at failing provides the foundation you need to take on bigger projects and move to the next level.
A facing west mountain property, you don't have direct sun in the mornings. The sun hits the top of the Continental Divide first thing though.

I'm living like an old mountain man with this Colorado power restriction strategy.

The 3-day windstorm has passed. Gusts of over 90 mph were clocked on top of Dory Hill Mountain as the storm pushed over the Continental Divide.

Sitting next to the fire in the cabin agreeing with this. ✊
A pure happiness in the Mountains.

Success is often a factor of conviction, and how long you can stay convicted to a particular project or goal.
The other side of success is choosing the right things to be convicted about.
One of my most helpful convictions, the one that keeps me focused, is being Bitcoin Only.
It keeps me out of a lot of trouble.
Hard to beat a 4 mile morning drive to the school with no traffic and views of the mountains.

"No good deed goes unpunished" is an odd frame and cynical.
Being helpful can backfire, but it's a much better frame to walk around with.
Confusion can hide ignorance but only for so long.
Unwanted communication directed at the masses has cause great harm over the years.
Fermentation has begun.
To watch what the kids at school are fed each morning and during lunch.... The kids have no chance.
The season goes by fast once it starts.
Finished the 2025 season 7-2.
My boys had great year and we'll need to step it up next year to replace our 7 seniors.

Seeking novelty has proven to me to have diminishing returns over time.

At a gathering over the weekend and someone brought over a rice dish that everyone raved about.
Someone said "oh, you can't eat this can you?"
I said I can eat whatever I want.
There was plenty of steak and ribs ... So I'm good.
I was able to make the switch when I was 42.
I eat meat so I have access to fat.
Many fail at carnivore because they eat too lean of cuts.
We need the fat more than the protein.
My investment options have trended to zero.
Final weekend for the Central City Opera. Attend The Knock list night. The orchestra stole the show. A great performance.

If you know how a slot machine works, you know how a casino's choice of chips sets adds or takes away winning combinations.
The key to luck is increasing the number of winning combinations in your personal random number generator of life.
Stacking Bitcoin is just one of the ways to loosen your chip set.
A stop for Steak and Eggs.

A stablecoin in the USA doesn't have a use case helpful to me.
A simple and repeatable plan is best in the long run.
Debasement is too good to resist.
I'm not clairvoyant, but I can see the future.
