Just like the USD is not fully private. Dollar bills probably fairly safe, but even $20 bills can be tracked if the merchants deposit into ATM. It takes flowing through several hands without touching an ATM to start to become clean.

Just finished “Lost on a Mountain in Maine” on Prime and it was powerful. As a father of one boy and another baby on the way in November, it hit me hard. I’ve got to do better of showing the proof of work to make being a better father and husband my number one priority. It’s easy to give up and just want to stick him in front of the tv or appease whatever is causing the meltdown rather than helping him learn. You have to fix yourself first to be able to properly raise another human. Time to get to work!

I’m noticing the 100% grass fed is very lean. I prefer to do the 100% grass fed, rotationally grazed, but just add lots of butter perhaps?

What do you tend to eat? I wish I could afford Ribeyes all the time, but am heavy on the ground beef and then top rounds that tend to be affordable.

Like many in the comments, I disagree. I wouldn’t call it an investment per se, and in the modern climate it’s unaffordable for most, but the true intent behind home ownership is good. My wife and I still plan to get land and build to have a long term home for our family

Cool to discover this week that even in my very tiny town, there is actually a group of Bitcoiners and people who see the world a bit more like me

This is a time I need to study the Austrian school of economics. My mind is open to the idea that tariffs likely don’t always have the same effect Keynesians would have you believe, but I don’t have enough theoretical knowledge to have an intelligent conversation

We lived across the street from the hospital in Co Springs, so from what I understand our son wasn’t in real danger, but had we been remote with no access to hospital, I don’t think he would have made it

We attempted home birth for our first and had to transfer to hospital after 27 hours for a crash C-section, but we think because cord might have wrapped around his neck. He is alive and healthy and emergency care served its purpose when we needed it. However, my wife is due in Nov with our second and attempting home birth again, but we are renting an AirBnB in a larger city in case we need a hospital again.

It really is the hardest, but most rewarding thing you’ll ever do! Congrats on a baby girl! I’ll find out for us when the baby pops out 🤣

Yeah, after listening to Salidino for a few years, I already do very minimal chicken, pork, or fish. I know I feel better carnivore or close to carnivore, but I also wonder about quality of life and whether eliminating all other foods will outweigh in my mind how I feel. e.g I made homemade ice cream with all Whole Foods, but it has peaches and honey.

Palisade Peaches during July/Aug in Colorado for example. Am I “harming” myself with those things in moderation and how heavy does that weigh against the stressors of putting myself in fight or flight mode worrying about all of the things that can harm me?

Getting back into X3 and general movement. Results aren’t great yet, but consistent, daily improvement will get me there.

I’m think I’m going to go seasonal. During summer more animal based and have certain fruits & raw honey, and then more carnivore during winter. I’m always 95%+ beef and eggs though
