Reminded me of talking to my grandfather: good natured, kind of kooky, occasionally eye rolling, seemed generally well intentioned but not necessarily sufficiently in touch with reality to have perspectives that are necessarily of much relevance outside of fairly select circumstances.
I long ago gave up goals for related reasons, I now have ambitions. No amount of joy is too much to strip from life in the name of avoiding being a failure who doesn't achieve a goal, but if something's merely an ambition, it may warrant reassessment.
The thought of a baseball cap says creeper to me, especially is I'm wearing sun glasses, and I don't want to seem weird. I'd probably stick to a nice straw sun dick hat.
Am I the only person who sees a relationship between greenhouse gas emissions and global warming, and money printing and inflation? Or does everyone think that actions only sometimes have consequences? 😁

Just picked my wife up from the airport, LITERALLY, THE FIRST STORY she tells me from her trip is about her picking up an opossum that'd made it's way into her parents' garage and carrying it out to one of the surrounding fields so that her dad wouldn't "deal with it"! 🤣

Based on how people are self reporting here, that number seems way too high. I wonder if it's wrong (I'm pretty sure I've heard lower numbers in the past), if this self reporting nostr group is a statistically anomaly, or if there are other relationships which lead nostr, at present, to be a non-representatives group.
The LinkedIn account for the little company I work for was recently hacked and taken over. I was tempted to tell my boss that the problem wasn't that the account was stolen, but that it existed in the first place. Unfortunately, he wouldn't be receptive to that message in the best of times, and that was far from the best of times.
One time I got tired of making related statements, then I lost 50 lb and profoundly changed my life.
