These days I try to stay away from fireworks. When I was 15, I lit of 36 jumping jacks in my pocket while visiting my brother at his work. I shit you nit, if we had social media, I would’ve gone viral, no doubt.
Picture this, you and your fellow college students are in line for dinner, you have your tray on the rails and your slowly working your way to the end, when all of a sudden, this really tall dude who was standing behind the line, next to the cook, starts screaming and jumping up and down?
It only took a few seconds to get their answer, as the jumping jacks burnt away my pocket and fell to the ground, causing quite a display. Between the light show and my tall ass, trying to strip the shorts off, it’s safe to say this was not what you would normally expect to see at the dinner call. 😂🤷🏻♂️
In case you’re wondering how they got lit, well, I had also just started smoking that summer and having a lighter in my pocket was a new thing so I would play with it often. Karma, life lesson, all of the above? 😝
