who’s here from this week‘s great twitter migration?

Doing finishing touches for my book, which is now past all external editing. I'm doing the author's final edit/checkup, cover, getting it into the right format for publication, etc.

Some questions for the community:

-Do you prefer hardcover, paperback, or ebook?

-For hardcover or paperback, do you care about the physical dimensions of a book? eg do you prefer a 5.5"x8.5" thicc book or a 7"x10" thinner book?

-For those that like audio books, would you prefer to read the book physically or electronically rather than listen to it, if it had a lot of images?

Twitter gets my frequent thoughts, because that’s where most people are.

Nostr gets my heart-to-heart thoughts, because that’s where the quality people are.

Haven't watched anything in ages. Any recommendations for good movies / documentaries / tv-shows?

Seriously considering going smartphone-free for a month.

I would be very interested in Square phones if they were to exist.

Just throwing that out there. :)

A web of trust feature is one that helps you make informed decisions about how to interact with people who are not in your direct social graph (i.e., people you follow) by using the social graph of those you do follow instead. Implicitly, you have some degree of trust in the people you follow, so you can use that web of trust as a proxy to figure out if you can trust them as well.

Features could include showing who of those you follow

- are following the person whose profile you’re viewing.

- muted a user

- reported a user

- reported a note or event

Some folks on Twitter are saying that nostr is failing due to a plateau in user / event growth. There's certainly a lot of work to be done before normies will find the user experience to be simple enough.

But, on the flip side, I'm tracking a variety of Twitter metrics and it seems to be falling apart.

All of my Twitter integrations have broken.

Engagement metrics have plummeted.

Twitter Analytics dashboard is broken.

Impersonation bots are running wild.

Still no progress on monetization.

I'm blocked from buying Blue.

Everything is terrible.

Ok Dave, it’s been a while, I need a fun place to stay in Paris for a few nights. Any ideas? This goes out to non AIs too 😍 last min planning
