I am reading Atlas Shrugged and came to the same conclusion just this morning about Rearden metal. An amusement to come across the very reference here just now and think about the ways Bitcoin will change society and industry in real life like Rearden metal is intended to do, so far as I’ve read. Bitcoin holds a similar precarious status today. The parallels are uncanny and make for an enjoyable read as I compare the two side by side as the book progresses.
Bitcoin is the discovery of digital fire. Fire, once discovered, was embedded in every process that contributed to human flourishing. It unlocked energy and nutrients from inaccessible food sources through cooking. It transitioned material sciences from limited collection to extensive production via smelting of base metals. It fostered social interaction and communication by facilitating the sharing of knowledge, stories, and culture. Its warmth expanded human habitat beyond warm climates. It terraformed nature, clearing space for expansion and settlement. It served as a means of protection from predators, enemies, disease and the darkness of night. Fire was the light that sparked civilization. Digital fire has just been discovered. Cue the transformation of humanity as we know it.

Anyone else having this issue? I just get the orange/yellow circle of death on sent zaps. Nothing has changed on my end but started noticing it a couple days ago.
Had same issue a few weeks ago. Disconnect and reconnect wallet worked for me.
There is something to be said about everyone in the #bitcoin space trying their hand at cracking it in the creator economy this year in 2024.

That’s a lot of new people. And they all need to learn from someone. By getting started and just hitting publish you learn more and you begin to establish your voice as a reputable source.

Bitcoin is a global monetary constitution backed by energy. Those who use it, use it by choice. All abide by it for no one can change it. All are equal by encrypted law.
I anticipate a miner strategy similar to migratory bird populations, moving through the seasons and across the continents. Energy is bountiful, but only nature decides where and when to send a surplus.
Bitcoin is to money what preservation is to food. Both are protocols and technological advances that transmit a previously perishable item longer into the future to the benefit of the holder. Canning extends the shelf life of food that will quickly spoil , improving access and security. Bitcoin extends the value of your life’s energy, protecting its purchasing power into the future. Both increase our ability to plan for the future and both improve the lives of those who adopt the protocol.
E=mc ² proves that energy and mass are equivalent. Bitcoin is massless energy, transmittable at the speed of light.
