make sure your kids are into it and that you move to portugal

4.5 years since seeing my first wine label.

Looking back, that wine wasn't so good, but selling it was the taste I needed. No job could ever replace the feeling of making money doing something completely on your own.

I got hooked.

93 Cab Franc Remain🍷

#ZapSnag 6 for ⚡ 255k

the far left is natural

Colmated: Low quality natural cork with the gaps filled in by glue+Cork dust

Technical: Agglomerated cork center with natural cork ends - the idea is that the natural cork is the only thing that contacts the wine, but this isn't really true

Agglomerated: cork bits all glued together

its really easy to tell once you know. Maybe the comated corks is a bit harder to see before you open the bottle, but look at that pic I posted and youll notice the differences.

BAsically they fill the gaps in the cork with glue and cork dust or just blend it all up and seal it together

I'm surprised they have enough of an issue with that to think about it like that.

Customers like it too. Its nice to have the reseal ability.

Its cheaper than cork and the wine ages differently in it.

Personally, I stay away and/or dont hold onto wine that is closed this way

with the capsule its hard to tell if its natural cork until you open it. Capsule looks great, but thats rough for quality verification

yes.

A screw topped wine is essentially frozen in time which is great of Rose.

But long term wine contact with the cap is not good. Drink screw tops right away and/or avoid them imo

Absolutely not!

While it creates a nice reusable seal and can keep a wine from aging (good in some scenarios), the seal on the cap leaches into the wine.

Its the same reason that they found microplastics in liquids stored in glass and wine is more acidic and thus more corrosive than what they tested.

Corks are 100% Natural.

They come from cork trees and unless you want polyurethane glue in contact with your wine, you need to choose wine that uses them.

So many wineries cut costs here.

Fall disappears in a flash.

Sometimes I wonder if it ever really existed.

I know it does because I can remember the crisp mornings, FOOTBALL and the leaves beginning to change, but what is it really?

Is it a feeling?

Something comes alive in the Fall that isn't tangible. You can sense the whole world rushing to take advantage of those last days before the first freeze. It's a frenzy. Yet still and calm.

The Fall is my busy season.

Grapes are the last thing to ripen in the valley and we usually pick days before the first frost. In that scramble to get everything done, I usually miss out on the true beauty of Fall. I see it. It's hard to miss a bunch of yellow leaves, but to experience the true beauty, you need to commit to it.

Stay still in a moment and watch the world shift around you.

My vineyard is beginning its crescendo. The grapes have begun to turn purple. The final days of Summer are coming. I never look forward to this season ending, but the magic of Fall is always calling.

I'll make sure to answer this year.

I genuinely don't understand why plates exist.

All you need is a cutting board and wine glasses.

Try it tonight.🍷

All of a sudden I like CME Gaps

Cool so now $123k is boring

I do love watching the dollar go down.

Got a new android phone and am thinking about starting fresh and running graphine.

Before I do this, what do I need to know?

Anyone and yeah just DM me shipping info. Def more seamless when it's a reorder from someone, but it's nice to post about a product and just have the ease of not having to send anyone anywhere

I'm trying to understand bitcoiners and what makes them want to spend bitcoin instead of using a credit card.

I was having a convo with a guy who basically dropships and wants people to spend bitcoin. I was turned off by the drop shipping, but maybe others aren't.

Turns out hes doing eth NFTs as receipts so Imma just stop thinking about him tho

The best part is that I remember all the fucked up things people said to me about Bitcoin, but they have no recollection.
