Thanks. I could talk for hours about favorite books. #Bibliophilia
I have not. But I probably will now. Thanks.
I will recommend 'Architecture: Form, Space, & Order' by Francis D.K. Ching
For me the most difficult vegetable to grow has been root vegetables (i.e. carrots, onions, etc.) I'm not sure why...
I've not tried bonsai, but I did get my grandmother one as a gift.

So here are three things about me.
1. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
2. I was an ISA Certified Arborist
3. I first vegetable I planted and cared for was pumpkin when I was 12.
Ask me anything, I might answer.
I tried to attach this pic of the Bush Beans on my last post but I guess Iris didn't like the beans. So, lets see if Snort likes them...

After 4 days of rain, the Contender Bush Beans have emerged!

What is your cover crop strategy? What do you use? How do you deal with your cover crop when it is time to plant over it?

I ran into the same issue with Snort. I've since switched to Iris and it seems to be so much smoother and the layout just feels better to me. Btw, I am loving your feed.
Day 17: #grownostr initiative
An unexpected consequence of the grownostr initiative has been the realization of how quickly time passes. It is hard to believe that I have been on nostr for 17 days. I think#[0] used to say tick tock, tick tock...
So not only am I more aware of time and the need to be very intentional with my actions, I am meeting some very inspiring people and seeing some incredible projects being completed.

I'm having the same problem.
FYI a couple of people suggested Iris and I started using it and I really like it.
Using Iris now. Love it!
Thanks. I my phone is Android and I my understanding is Damas is iOS. But I will give Iris a try.
We are on day 3 of rain. I hope my garden survives. It is the first year I planted in this spot.
What type of fencing is it?
Day 16: #grownostr initiative
What client is everyone using? Is it working well?
I currently use Snort on my laptop. It was working great for the first 2 weeks, but now it has trouble displaying notifications.
It might be time to branch out and use a different client. I'd love to hear what everyone else is using and how they like it.
Day 15: #grownostr initiative
"A goal without a plan is just a wish" - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
“A good plan today is better than a perfect plan tomorrow.” - Geoge S. Patton
I find myself caught in the trap of over-planning at times, thinking every aspect must be designed before any work can begin.
I admire those who are able to jump in with both feet and get shit done.
I would image more mistakes are made in this method, but mistakes are an opportunity for growth.
So I wish everyone a good plan today.

The photo shows tomatoes, but I have peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, and watermelon. They all seem to have survived. I don't know how long it would take for the cell damage to show though. The temperature posted online for my area said 34 degrees.
I've never preserved eggs this way. Do you preserve them uncooked? Have you eaten them after being preserved this way?
Day 14: #grownostr initiative
Good morning nostr. Hope everyone has a great day.
