From Spark to Blaze: The Simple System for Success

I hear it all the time: What's the secret to success? Is there some magic formula?

After a couple of decades in the trenches, here's what I've figured out. Success is simple. It's like starting a fire. You've got your tinder, your kindling, your fuel wood. You don't just throw a match at a log and expect it to burst into flames, right? You've got to build it up, step by step.

First, the tinder. That's your passion, your spark. It's that thing that lights you up, gets you out of bed in the morning. Without it, you're just going through the motions. Find your tinder, and you've got your start.

Next, the kindling. That's your skills, your knowledge. You can't expect to succeed without putting in the work, without learning your craft. You've got to feed that initial spark with something substantial, or it'll fizzle out.

Then, the fuel wood. That's your perseverance, your grit. This is what keeps the fire going, what turns a spark into a roaring blaze. You've got to keep feeding the fire, keep pushing, even when things get tough.

Follow this system, and you'll get your fire. You'll get your success. It might not look exactly like you pictured it. Hell, it might be better.

But here's the thing: You can't cheat the system. You can't skip the kindling and go straight to the fuel wood. You can't ignore the tinder and expect the kindling to light itself. It doesn't work that way.

And all those "get rich quick" schemes? Total bullshit. They're like trying to start a fire with wet wood. You might get a few sparks, but it's not going to last.

So, find your tinder. Build your kindling. Feed your fire. And remember, USE GOOD, HIGH-QUALITY WOOD.

If you follow this system, if you put in the time and the effort, you'll find success. You'll find yourself achieving more than you ever thought possible, and you'll do it without even thinking about it. Why? Because success, like a good fire, is all about the system.

As you probably figured, there’s a flood of such get rich schemes coming online with the theme of using ChatGPT and other AI tools as a digital genie/slave to do all your work for you. Some things never change, they just get a fresh coat of BS paint.

I kinda get the feeling that this will be similar to more future articles on the topic- with a spin on making China look more like The Bad Guy as a way to gin up support for starting a war. Now that a lot of us see how the crime of the disease itself is lesser than the metastasizing social ills it set off - rampant abuses of power and tearing apart society- we’ll probably see more of such articles too. It’s gone on long enough that people are numbed by it and it’s probable that those responsible will not be held accountable.

It’s definitely a bucket list thing. I took my Royal Enfield up there and rode it- in the rain as the leaves were just starting to turn colors and fall all over the road.

You’ll know that the AI art is getting better when this sort of picture includes real world blemishes like the chronic rocker panel rot that restorers had to fight all the time. We never did quite get rid of it.

Depends on what you want it for. A is more standard since a lot of entities that want headshots want them with a certain angle of your face. I like B better since you appear more relaxed but it’s more informal.

Add to this list any iteration of a traditional family or anyone who turns down the sexual advances of pretty much anyone of the far left camp.

As for the contemporary art world you can forget showing, selling, or getting grants/fellowships for your art if you don’t religiously adhere to making propaganda pieces that glorify the cause du jour in a way that would make Stalin proud. #hardtruth nostr:note1dej2ujvawxa2r8cpa58z3uj08rf2vfme7nj8czkn0mv8wzyf693qf2uye4

I doubt anyone here will be surprised at how hard it is to find the entire recent Tucker Carlson video. Google’s working real hard on spamming up the searches with favored opposition hit pieces. I figured I’d try Rumble since it’s disfavored enough that it hardly ever comes up in a normal search. Sure enough, the entire unedited video is available (for the time being) on the Bongino report. #grownostr #nostruncensored

The best bonus was when the teacher would let us watch it rewind with the projector light still on- everything went backwards and we’d laugh ourselves sick.

Yep. While my time might be better spent finishing garden and shop projects, here I sit with a glass of home made ginger beer- from ginger out of my garden, a handful of home made beef jerky, while reading “Rural Home Defense” and “Suburban Defense/Warfare” “The Gladesmen” (good one), and a few others in the stack I can’t recall right now. Then I get an automated message that the next pile of books I reserved at the library are ready for pickup…. #grownostr #learnnewthings #homemade #growyourown nostr:note1q3r8cfj8ff2msfecsav32c200maxnflnsx8dp970z03lnv3wwzpsr296kc

Everything the media does is exaggerated bullshit. Not a defense of Musk but a defense of reality here. Yes 42,000 satellites sounds like a lot but the graphics in this are laughable and ignore scale.

It is a BIG ASS SKY folks. The area discussed is larger then the earth's surface, much larger as that is how expanding spheres work.

How many cars are there in Dallas or Atlanta? They make it like the planet will be surrounded by a swarm that has almost no openings.

Take anything on earth we have a lot of and use it to draw an analogy in your mind about how much space vs. stuff we are talking about here. There are 330+ million people in the US but there are places you can walk for days and see no one.

We have 1.1 million commercial cargo trucks on the road in the US. Just think about this vs. the land area then consider the sheer size of the sphere area 200 miles above the planet.

Thousands of satellites in orbit is honestly nothing. The graphics in this are about as legitimate as the death counters in real time were on the news when CoVaids was being hyped hard. And of course now we are all going to die due to an astroid impact due to StarLink.

There is risk in all this but as always it isn't the risk they are talking about. Once again the pretty lady distracts from what the magician is really up to.

I do remember sitting outside and watching a trail of tiny lit dots stream across the night sky after a Starlink launch awhile ago. They reminded me of a line of car headlights on a faraway road at night. Not aesthetically ideal, but not a big deal either.

“Empirical Agnostic” here. The older I get, with the life experiences that come with it, helps to show me more of how there is so much I cannot explain with human understanding. Accepting that I can’t ever comprehend the extent of what I don’t know. And whatever sentience or Entity in that infinite realm does not need my comprehension, worship or obedience to continue to exist.

Yeah funny how when during and after a hurricane, you can see so many smaller transformers blowing up that it looks like green lightning - all night long every night, and yet they manage to get stuff up and running in a comparatively short time. There have been nights during a storm that those green flashes and explosions were why I couldn’t sleep - not the actual storm noise.
