Great question. Would be curious to hear what others think but I think we’ve drifted away from appreciating craftsmanship and the time it takes to create great work. Also furniture is just functional. Get something cheap that will last for a bit rather than expensive that will last forever.
I’m torn about this stuff as well. But go for it. Especially If it’s something you’ll‘value’
