I thought I was pretty far down the hole but I dont even mine so now I'm questioning my life 😅. I have gotten one friend interested and she does an automatic daily buy. Got her set up with a multi sig wallet. She works for a bank lol. Mostly though I'll bring it up when I can with folks but I dont push it hard. I want them to ask out of interest. If the interest isn't there it'll be like talking to a wall.

This week I accomplished what was supposed to be a lifelong goal of mining a block. Anyways, I have no Bitcoin friends, live in a small town in fly over country and even my wife doesn’t care but if there is anyplace that I can celebrate it is on Nostr. Tonight I am putting my kids to bed, pouring a glass of whiskey and going to sit on my front porch in the dark and pray. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the time and effort you have poured into Ocean it is turning the tide! 😉

Congratulations! That's got to be an amazing feeling. I know how you feel, I have tried to talk to friends and family about bitcoin and most don't care. It's nice to have nostr to connect with like minded people. Thanks for sharing.

Camino Frances | Day 21

Hospital de Orbigo to Astorga

There was a really cool little "oasis" on the way to Astorga that we stopped at for a rest and some snacks. It was always nice when one of these popped up. The albergue we stayed in on this night used to be a women's prison a long time ago. I was just glad there were no bunk beds. No chance to end up on the top! Little things like that matter when you walked 6 hrs.

Camino Frances | Day 20

Leon to Hospital de Orbigo

Another day that I didn't take many pictures, which is sad because the town we rolled up in was pretty cool. We had a large communal dinner with everyone at the albergue, it was fun but this place was owned by vegans so the meal was not what I would normally choose. I think that little bit of information was purposely kept from me until after I had paid to stay there. That's fine though it was still a fun experience. The picture of the sunset was while I was laying in bed about to go to sleep. It was a little after 10PM.

I feel like I'm in the wrong place. 19° Today.

If I ever go back to NYC I will definitely be stopping here for a visit.

That looks good. At first I thought it was pickled okra on top of the dog, which I've never had but now I want to try. I love pickled okra.
